If in my opinion it's true, there are many projects up to now that have no value anymore, not even listed on every exchange, it's a shame that projects waste a lot of time, now there are many risks if you invest in tokens because they could be from their token part

That's true you can see many altcoins become $0 and looks dead because  there's no development on the project. Bitconnect is only one of them, if you want to see you can look another dead coin you can find at https://deadcoins.com/.
That's why some project are now locking their token for about 6months to avoid been dump and fade out in volume easily. Poor bitconnect that it has no single volume again

it is true that the main cause is because the project team was not consistent in managing the project, even the sad thing was that it was done deliberately just to raise funds and after that they actually made the project again. of course, investors are very disappointed with this treatment, and make them more careful to choose a project, and the result ICO no longer demand, hopefully this does not happen to IEO

Totally agreed and one thing, my take on IEO's are, it will not be ended like ICOs the reason why? That is because especially with those big exchanges such as gate.io binance, etc will not list or will not choose a project that they think will not be responsible enough to deliver results. I think that's the difference between the two.

That is true that most ponzi projects are almost 100% gone, but altcoins also disappear from coinmarketcap and of course they are not able to grow and the value returns to 0.

You can start your search by looking through the list at https://www.coinopsy.com/dead-coins/

This website is a big help and a good indication of what the Cryptocurrency community has gone through, this is a good source of dead and shitcoins and newbies, investors and bounty hunters should add this to their bookmarked so they can trace if their coin is already added here.

There are 12 names in 579 pages that make it 6948 dead and shitcoins, and many more coming, I hope the admin of that site can keep up with the list, because there are many more coming in the list, like airdrops, ICO, IEO and HYIP coins.

Most of these coins are because of its team who left the project maybe because they were affected of the bear market wherein they were able to raise large amount but the value decreased when the market fell and other than that they were legit but was affected for the same reason. Lastly, those scam project who made an exit after listing and dumping to the market.
I conclude that some developers no longer care about their project so the reason they make it is because of money. but I am not saying entirely due to developer error, but the key to project failure / success is project developer. if the developer has a good background they can certainly run the project according to the roadmap.

Currently, a lot of altcoins are created just for the pumping process. Instead of raising the price of an old coin with a lot of people holding it, people will create a new coin and pump it up like how to pump an old coin.
But saying that does not mean that altcoins are all shitcoin, among them there are many potential coins and many partners with the development team, large community.

I heard that over 85% of crypto from over a few years ago has went to 0.  Is that true or false?

Can someone give me a list of the popular coins that were pretty well known that has went to 0?  The only one i know of is bitconnect.  All the other coins, they might have dropped to pennies but what coins has went straight to 0.
Loads of coins and tokens  have had really rough times in trying to ensure they execute their projects to suit a solution they have so imagined but many at times they "sleep" even before they get to enlist in an exchange or even before they mark their very first year anniversary. Although the causes of this is yet to be ascertained but it has called for a decline in the price of their tokens to below $0. i checked this website to get details and i was shocked the number of projects enlisted in it. https://www.coinopsy.com/dead-coins/ico/

LOL bitconnect is legend , we will remember that shitcoin for life.
I don't know exactly what percentage of projects are dead and have no value but I know if what you're saying is true, a lot of crypto projects die and end up scamming.

It is true as you said many times we find coins that have no value even more than one hundred coins from the project alone we find a lot of coins that can only be a wallet collection because the price does not go up, maybe the list you have seen from other member posts There are already tons of coins that cost $ 0.

I think it’s easy to find. Upon request, the top cryptocurrencies that failed. You can find all the most failed financial projects on blockchain. Large projects are not so easy to bring to ruin.

Unfortunately, it is true that about 80% of all coins that appear die and their coin price has gone to zero. But more often these are useless coins that initially had no future. To be honest, I don’t even see the point of negotiating such coins. Now there are only those coins that deserve our attention and it is better to concentrate our attention on these coins and develop them. But I do not exclude the possibility that useless coins will continue to appear and die in time, this is inevitable.

there are thousands of coins that are registered in the coinmarketcap ... and there are thousands of coins that are not registered in coinmarketcap ... so for now there are very many altcoins that have been launched in the cryptocurency ... and very many altcoins which were initially very good and growing but eventually had to lose all of its volume caused by very large market competition ...

One of the reasons coins with prices that were once good then became 0 was the disappearance of the team from the project. or the developer is cheating on investors and communities about the product. some projects have been like that, even they have been registered in large exchanges and then have to disappear and lose value.

Yes. It's true that about 85-90% of altcoins in 2019 have lost value and died. And in the future there will undoubtedly be more altcoins dying, only good altcoins can survive

I have a lot of coins , and that turned into a zero , for example wemark , and shivom this coin very much it was worth after the IPO and now all is not traded on the exchanges , I think we should leave the coins at the right time.

We have seen the altcoin ETH market drop below $ 100 and some altcoins have decreased dramatically and then disappeared, only projects with developments over 2 years that still survive today.
