Maybe I will choose bitcoin for investment because the movement is very fast, so I can take advantage of the moment to buy when the price of bitcoin is down and then sell it if the price has gone up. Looks like it's really easy right?
Maybe for gold, I can only use it not for investment. Yeah I will buy gold, but it is a necklace or a ring to wear.

In terms of liquidity, bitcoin is more useful to invest in. You don't need buyers to convert it to cash. In the future definitely it can be use as direct payment to our utility bills and other cash transactions. Gold is also good but most likely if you will exchange it for lower price. I prefer to have both gold and bitcoin to have options in the future. They are both good long term investments.

I don't think it would be a great idea to think about gold losing its value, because for me, there's no way people would sell gold for cheap market price, it isn't like bitcoin that the market price solely depends on the demands that it has. My idea is like this, since they are both valuable, an investment could be backed by investment as well, so why not use Gold to back bitcoin up in the market? With this, the value of bitcoin will be even higher considering that a great asset is supporting it. |

Btw why no one consider real estate as a long term investment? At least it's your place on earth and you know real estates have huge value, you can rent it and get additional income monthly. I know situation in countries like USA and European ones where it's very, very hard to buy apartments + you have to pay taxes for owning them but in some countries where people are almost free from it, I would consider real estate better investment options than bitcoin and gold if we want stable monthly profit of course.
It's easy to speak from today's situation about bitcoin cause if anyone bought btc in 2019 and sold when price was 20K, he/she would profit insanely huge money and would easily become billionaire without almost any effort but it's almost impossible to catch best moments, that's a problem. Some people bought bitcoin in 2009 while others bought when price was 20K, you see a difference.

Bitcoin is an asset for active trading, long-term investment allows you to get a cool profit from this asset. in the use of bitcoin or gold both have profit potential, gold is better for the long term and I already believe this while bitcoin in investments can be used for the long term and also the short term, depending on conditions and also its potential |

But whether it's really as easy as you said or not, I'm sure this is not because if taking advantage of bitcoin's dump and pump could be easy, many people would not have lost and felt bitcoin betrayed their lives right now, fast motion always has its drawbacks, so when we talk about long-term investment, I only half agree when talking about bitcoin while gold is a total agreement. Investment on the subjective point of view will have such an opinion but except from the nature of the investment, whether investment can become good or not, it should be based on the investor. |

Bitcoin has been the most amazing invention and has given massive return of investment for those who joined from 2013. From low point in 2013 to 20k in 2017, it has gone from one end to another end. Right now today its trading at $10461 per bitcoin. The prediction is with just 21 million maximum supply it will reach 1 million bucks per coin one day.
Gold has been one of the most popular investment for centuries. Every country or government be it in the past or present always prefer gold reserve over their own currency even to prepare themselves for financial meltdown. Right now GOLD is being traded at $1425/oz.
So my question is which one you would chose for your investment ? Which one you would chose to outperform the other ? GOLD or BITCOIN? Please tell us with a reason why ?

I think Gold was a good investment for the long term since the gold was a rare metal surely it could increase its market value over time because of the supply and demand for gold. Bitcoin was also a good investment since it was since the market price was so volatile but still risky since there are so many delays in the market and the market price was also going down. |

In more detail, I will invest 60% in the cryptocurrency market and the remaining 40% I will invest in gold. Indeed gold has better investment properties in some cases than Bitcoin. Because gold has a real physique while bitcoins are not all countries have real physical.

We know that Gold is the oldest form of Investment tool, It's been using for this purpose from the very early modern age, Not only that but also Gold is the most popular tool for various purpose, But when you say about the long term investment with a potentiality for a handsome profit then Gold should be substitute by Bitcoin because It's more potential for this aspect, I think Bitcoin is the latest addition for the investment purpose and Bitcoin could be the best option for the long term investment. I believe Bitcoin and Cryptocurrency will dominate in the coming future. so I choose Bitcoin rather than Gold.

I could as well accumulate bitcoin, the problem with gold is that, it is not easily accessible, you need to take into consideration that you need to meet someone and buy gold but you cannot stay anonymous. In fact, investing in bitcoin is quite easier, no matter how old you are, how rich or poor you are, bitcoin is open for everyone so basically in terms of investment, bitcoin is one of the best, gold as well but for me, engaging to investment in gold needs you to become rich first especially if you want to use gold for jewelries. |

actually both can be used in investment but their uses are quite different, gold can be used more for long-term investment while bitcoin can also be used for long-term investment but with stronger research than gold investment |

Why compare them because i think having both of them as future assets would be good rather than choose between bitcoin or gold and in my view both are good to be considered as long term investment but i would be honest if for long term purpose to hold for more than 10 years i would like to choose gold than bitcoin and my concern to pick gold because gold less of volatility than bitcoin
i think bitcoin is more profitable and more valueable coin in market.so,i think bitcoin is better than gold.what's why i'm now hold my BTC for future profits. |

both do have the potential and of course vary, the most important thing is we can use gold or bitcoin to look for profit. maybe the difference is only the level of profit and also the risk, but for me both can provide benefits if we are able to understand the investment |
