The domain of Bitcoin CASH is even https://www.bitcoin.com/ and their News feeds that is been sent to million daily has bitcoin.com domain extension in it. This is a way of deceiving novice that they are buying the real Bitcoin which is NOT. None of them can gain popularity or reckon with without the use of the word Bitcoin.

If people like you could understand the difference between bitcoin and the rest of the coins that starts with the moniker bitcoin then it is not a big task and none of those coins will scam anyone, people who has basic reading skills will understand the difference between bitcoin and an alt coin which starts with the moniker bitcoin, if they are not taking much attention to what they are investing then there is no one you can blame than yourself.
If you think that the moniker alone will hold up a coins value then i must come to a conclusion that the majority of the people who are investing in this market are naive .

This is what they've been doing after their existence in the community. And many other similar coins did the same that labelled their names with 'bitcoin' at the beginning of their coins with an additional extra word just to gain attention.

They are using Bitcoin to make themselves popular simply because they are not popular. And of course, these Bitcoin altcoins are forks of the real Bitcoin. And until now, they remain stuck at their futile claim that they are the real Bitcoin. Well, everybody knows they are mere altcoins with the Bitcoin label on their names. They carry it around trying to dethrone the real Bitcoin while promoting their names. But the only thing that keeps these altcoins alive is the Bitcoin itself in their names.

Yes, that's the whole point of them as far as I can see. They are forks of bitcoin, which is why they use the bitcoin name. But I can't see that any of them have any point or use beyond speculation based on that name.

these coins have nothing interesting going for them, they are exact copies of bitcoin with a huge blockchain. basically these altcoins copied more than 100 GB of data and called it a new coin while still abusing the bitcoin brand to get some pumps.

otherwise any half decent altcoin with anything to offer would start from scratch instead of doing what they did. and as you can see all of the decent coins are stand alone and from scratch.

because bitcoin cash and bitcoin gold are the children from The real bitcoin wich mean both are a fork from bitcoin,
but, not only both altcoins, a lot of altcoins creators will used the popularity of bitcoin to promote their product mate

I think many coins and not just bch attach to btc to gain popularity. for example, if btc reaches new high you will always get few altcoins who will try to ride its coattails. It's a matter of taking advantage of the market by attaching name to things that are already profitable in the crypto world.

Roger know if he was creating a new coin without use the name of bitcoin through bitcoin fork and his coin will never become a popular coin. that shit garbage coin gains instant popularity after roger was doing a hardfork from bitcoin blockchain.

Most developers use bitcoin as a way of promoting their projects, there were many coins calling themselves bitcoin 2.0, many claimed to be faster, more anonymous or more secure than bitcoin, it is just that the coins with bitcoin in their name are the worst offenders, however while it bothers me that this is happening at the same time I am glad, why you may ask? Because all of those coins that are abusing the name of bitcoin are giving me a clear signal to never invest in them.

As bitcoin cash is a forked coin out of bitcoin, the naming terminology is used. As it is a forked coin of bitcoin it gained popularity, and during the days after forking some started to claim bitcoin cash to be the original Bitcoin. Somehow that got vanished, but it has grown high than expected reaching more than $4000 when bitcoin touched its ath.

What do you expect from a coin made out of a fork of Bitcoin? Those were like a clone of Bitcoin itself yet there is a little upgrade on their part that makes them unique although Bitcoin was never a part of it since it does create a new altcoin namely BCH and not BTC itself. But thanks to that fork before, Bitcoin gains a lot of attention that helps it to grow the price before.

It just advertising mate.  In order to gain popularity you need to stay beside wherein there's a lot of ppl always look forward . It always happened actually and in fact not just BCH using the bitcoin image.  Which there's a lot of project also that relying on it just to convince more interested ppl especially nowadays after the long bearish season of market.

Nope, I wouldn't add this coin on my portfolio and probable other people in the community that's aware of what BCH has been doing to defame bitcoin.

I think you are basing this of because BCH is on the top 5 of the crypto market but what if its rank starts to go down, are you still going to include this coin on your portfolio? probably you will start dumping this coin.
