Does anyone know if there's a reliable and preferably easy way to get a virtual/gift card VISA or Mastercard for Bitcoins? I have looked at all the sites listed on the wiki, and I could not find one that worked and offers this. Bitcoinexchange.cc has too many complaints so I'm not going to use it.

I'm working on a site for that just now!

You can find it here for now, until I get my own domain:
http://www.jholstein.com/bitsite/bitcard/

Doesn't work yet, but expect to be running by the end of the month.

Wait you only charge 0.08 BTC (~$0.25) over face value.  Hmm I may need to look into that.

On edit:  and w/ free shipping.

One question though.  If I buy a 50BTC AMEX card the website doesn't seem to show how much that will be in USD.  Anyway to find out before buying?

Thanks for this, was looking for it too.

I found one service on my own, but I don't know about reliability or even if it's still working: http://startpad.org/blog/convert-bitcoin-prepaid-debit-cards

I gave them my email but I'm still waiting for a reply, out for weekend perhaps.

At the bottom of the page youll see an area were it say "1 Bitcoin is worth $3.05"
If exchange value drops i email the person asking if they would like to continue or would like a refund.

Xenland, are you still filling the Western Union Prepaid cards? I received mine, then I was unable to locate your shopping cart item to fill it.

Thanks, but as I said I've checked the wiki and none of them have virtual Visa or Mastercard. Regarding Xenland's offer they're not virtual and I don't think the gift cards can be used outside the US. At least that's what it says on the Visa home page.

No I am not anymore, everyone failed to understand that they were opening a western union bank account and it wasn't cost effective to take hours of my day to explain every "specific" question I was receiving in emails and PMs(sometimes reddit as well) about how the western union cards worked.

I do how ever have Visa cards and American Express cards.

Ok... well at least it didn't cost me anything to get the WU Prepaid. So let's try this again... Here's what I'm trying to do. Pay my kid's allowance in BTC. They will contribute most of it to an off-line wallet for savings and the rest will go on their android client and to a prepaid visa card for spending. The idea being that they can make a purchase and get cash back when they need pocket change.

I want the cheapest method to get bernankies onto the prepaid. How much are you going to charge me and what kind of fees can i expect from this visa card each month to do this? If I have to pay something like $5 to load a card each month, that's a significant percentage of their allowance at this time. Just trying to figure out my best options.

Well all gift card options cost $0.25 per card no matter the value. visa cards are about $5 to purchase/load them I'll update the description to reflect this new information I just found out after reading more into their terms of service.

I'm mostly trying to look into payroll options for customers where they can load $$$ from dwolla or paxem or something like that can and then I can load your visa card instantly. but those require private information to be signed up with and sent to visa in order to be activated so I'm not sure what the Bitcoin community thinks about this which is why i haven't done it still looking into my options aswell....

I like the site Xenland. I am about to buy a gift card but have a few questions.

Why can't you accept values other than 25, 50, 100 for the Mastercard? Their online ordering site lets you specify. I need a $60 card. Also, will you order them from that site with my email as recipient directly?

I do not have master cards listed, if you meant American express cards you would be correct they do allow you to specify the value but those are the physical cards which also happen to be $8.25 for shipping and handling. Your purchasing the eCard of American express which for some reason they only allow you to have denominations; I had cancel an order today because I actually thought I could accept any value but I was wrong as well.

Oh yeah USD reserve is low so I wont be able send out giftcards for 2-3 days if your willing to wait then continue but if you need it within the next 10 minutes I can't do that for you at the moment.

Oops, yes, American express is what I meant.

Is there any way I can order a $60 card and get the code through email from you?

Yes I've never used them before but don't use Cheaper In Bitcoins.com for orders higher then $150 or $200 if you need it today. Anything more then that will require more time to clear the banks.

I heard about https://www.okpay.com/en/index.html through the Free Talk Live episode that Roger Ver from MemoryDealers (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=52190.0) took part of.  Maybe this is close to something you desire ?

Hi, I'm looking to buy a virtual CC (visa/MC) using BTC. What are the options? All the links in this thread seem to be dead now.
