Bounty Projects Paying Out in Bitcoin or Ethereum Instead of Bounty Native Token

I participated in such bounty companies and I did not receive tokens or the project was closed or groups were not available
now I try not to participate in companies with such an award

If project groups are not available anymore its a scam project sorry to say,how effective your research is matters alot on bounty projects you will be willing to promote, many bounty hunters are promoting projects just for the sake of luck trying thats why they always end up been disappointed

I have participated in so many bounty project. But the payment it is not worth it.
We do some efforts to promote their project but the payment very less. When the price getting down, they will blame bounty hunter as a dumper. So sad..
I thought it will be good if the dev pay with the major crypto currency..

I am very concerned about what you have written, I often follow a campaign program (ANYONE project) like you and I have experienced the same thing. but not all BM treats bounty hunters arbitrarily. it all depends on who BM holds a gift project. and I will never again take part in a program organized by BM,who has ever cut for bounty hunter allocation.

Lol! how can they pay in eth or btc when they don't believe in the project they manage? most project are use as bait to collect money from investors, then you expect such team to pay in eth or btc! they won't because they are only after money and not project development so they could afford to reward you with worthless tokens and it won't matter much because they too are going to dump

For me it is still unknown why a lot of projects are not doing so. It would solve dumping, make investors and hunters happy. But the problem is that who wants to share 9000 ETH, if you can share 3 million of your own tokens, which costs you nothing at the moment.

sure? I think that most reserve part of TOTAL SUPPLY not of the total sold. If it's limited to a percentage of the total sold the value becomes much smaller.

I have seen both the cases. In some of the ICOs, they reserve a certain percentage of the tokens sold as the bounty pool. For some others, it is going to be the total supply. Anyway, in most cases anywhere from 60% to 80% of the tokens will be sold in the ICOs, with most of the remaining (apart from the 1-2% bounty reward) going to the promoters. And bounty hunters never ask for full payments to be made in ETH/BTC. They demand a part of their reward to be paid in ETH, which can be 10% or 20%. That would mean just 0.1% or 0.2% of the total supply and may be 0.3% of the ICO revenues. This is something that can be conceded by the ICO promoters and it will make the bounty hunters more confident about their work.

The last time I checked anyone who's a good posted can participate in the bounty that pay in Ethereum or bitcoin and I think the reason behind this switch of payment was because some project owner believe bounty hunters are behind the down in price of most new project.

For the fact that many projects in the cryptocurrency ecosystem doing bounties pay bounty hunters in their native tokens thereby blaming hunters for the dump in price most at times. I think it will be more preferable to have rewards paid in bitcoin or ethereum in order to save bounty hunters from receiving blames unnecessarily. I took part recently in a bounty (ANYONE project) and the payment is in btc though still awaiting payment but we're saved from unnecessary bickerings relating to price.
If on this bounty space we can get rewards in these currencies (btc or ethereum) it will do more good because after payout everybody faces their business and it will be left for the project team to see to how value could be added to their token or project as I can term it.

It's quite glaring and painful at the same time, bounty hunters are at the receiving end. In some cases, bounty managers change the rules with utmost disregard to hunters. I partook in a bounty just recently, where the BM was looking for a different excuse to cut down the rewards in their own native token seeing that price of the token skyrocket after their IEO and not allocating the agreed percentage to those tagged successful thereby denying hunters of what should have accrued them.

Any suggestion on the way forward that could be of help to bounty hunters having fair treatment and not be treated as a piece of rag after successful project campaign(s)? I want to learn from others experiences on the forum.

It is not profitable for them to pay bitcoin and ethereum. Since these are additional risks for them due to the high price (the rate is not stable). As stated above, it is easier to issue tokens and distribute them, after which you can blame users for their low rate. And the Bitcoin and Ethereum coins that you invested, they will keep for themselves and will not raise the course due to them, unless of course there are investors in the project who will not let the rate fall low. So far, only casinos and game projects are paying bitcoins for a signatures company.

tokens are born from blokchain and while the actual project goal is to improve their products on the market or like tokens they have created. if instead of a bounty campaign paying participants with (btc / eth), then what's the point of them creating a new token? considering blokchain is a sophisticated technology of course they will increase the stability of their own products.

I do agree with you and bounties are sometime seems as the reason why some tokens get dumped after listed. I have seen tokens like ENK and four pillar get dumped just by the bounty hunters and uptill now those projects could not recovered.
Paying bounty in ethereum or bitcoin will reduce dumping of those new projects that cannot withstand the pressure from dumpers.

Nothing can help, BM should get red trust when he changes the rules.
One effort to fight is to spread fud to their projects. giving a kind of protest so that the bounty hunter gets his rights.

Most times it may not be the fault of the bounty manager. I think a lot of times, it is the project team that tries to cheat the hunters. When they see that the project becomes an instant success with lots of profits, they start devising means of reducing pre-agreed allocation. This leaves the bounty manager in a ridiculous situation even though he/she gets paid directly in btc or eth

I don't know about ENK but as for the 4th pillar, I think there is no way hunters would have dumped as the price was too low to begin with coupled with the fact that the buy order on exchange is poor. I hold over 45k FOUR tokens and I have been monitoring the price since the first day it was listed. I can tell you for a fact that the price has always been piss poor and it had nothing to do with bounty hunters.

Most of the time 2m $ worth of native token bounty is not worth as 20k $ eth bounty.

They can have a better bounty with just a small amount and no dump, no unhappy investors.

Good idea but this is not possible. Advertisement is on token not on bitcoin or ethereum for this point. Bad sides of this that in 99% of cases token dont worth what the should be. It could benefit more to many but think that they need to consider to offer some compensation in ETH and for that to maybe 25% and rest in token. This option could be good for all who participate in bounty programs.

participating in bounties that pays in ethereum and bitcoin are the best types of projects each hunter mostly longs for. Such projects are considered unique and better than projects that pays in their native tokens. There is no blame from team to hunters and hunters are made free from thinking about distribution and listing.

The only thing that I don't like about Bitcointalk is that the bounty hunters are treated like beggars. I have seen bounty campaigns never paying their rewards, and the hunters having no option other than to forfeit their earnings and move on. I realized that there is no respect for a bounty hunter here. And this was the main reason why I stopped participating in those campaigns.

This will be very beneficial for the bounty hunters on that you are right but it will not be beneficial at all for the developers of a project, if they pay with bitcoin or with ethereum then they need a decent starting capital and if they do not have it then their bounty campaign will need to be shorter and smaller in size compared to the projects that are paying with their own tokens, and finally the biggest disadvantage for them are the costs, a long marketing campaign will be costly if they paid with BTC or ETH but it is free if they pay with tokens they just created.
