I was expecting the pitch to be difficult for batting from day 4. But Bangladeshi batsmen played quite well yesterday. The 3rd wicket partnership helped them a lot. Pakistan has suffered most for the change of pitch condition on the final day of the match. I thought either this match would end as a draw or Pakistan would win it. But Bangladesh has completely surprised me by winning it.

Pakistan tactics flopped in this match. Who will chose to field first on a minefield such as Mirpur? Bangladesh were asked to bat first and they managed to put up a massive 300 plus target. But Mirpur becomes Mirpur after the third day. Pakistani batsmen really struggled against Nahid Rana, Taskin Ahmed and Taijul Islam in their second innings. Apart from Abdullah Fazal, no other batsmen managed to score above 30. The next match will be played at Sylhet, and I hope that Pakistan will aim to win that match by improving their tactics and team selection.

I thought this test would be a draw but BAN won by a huge margin of 104 runs. Pakistan's batting line was very bad in the 2nd innings, except Abdullah Fazal, no other batsman could do well, he was out for 66 runs.

Anyway, Bangladesh's batsmen have performed brilliantly in this series, especially Shanto has batted very well, he scored a century in the 1st innings and got out for 87 runs in the 2nd innings which is very commendable. Also, Bangladesh's bowlers should be praised because they bowled brilliantly in the 2nd innings. I hope they do well in the 2nd test as well.

Batting during the 4th innings at Mirpur can be exceptionally difficult. And that's why I posted that Pakistan made a mistake in choosing to bowl first, after they won the toss. The only surprise was that it was the pacers who took all the wickets. Also, we need to consider the fact that only Mohammad Rizwan and Shan Masood were there as the experienced batsmen. Babar Azam and Fakhar Zaman were not included in the playing XI. On the other hand, Bangladesh had a pretty experienced bowling lineup, that included pacers such as Taskin Ahmed and Nahid Rana, as well as Mehidy Hasan Miraz and Taijul Islam for spin.

The beauty of the test was a few minutes back while Pakistan was playing with a loss of 3 wickets, odds were Pakistan @2.5, Bangladesh @11, and Draw @1.4, but suddenly after Pakistan lost both set batsmen, currently odds are Pakistan @11, Draw @1.25, and Bangladesh @5.

The match is still hanging in balance, but I am feeling Bangladesh can take a breakthrough and have a chance of winning the last pair, and the rest of the bowlers can't stay long for Pakistan in the last session of the test match.

Nahid Rana's performance was excellent, he took the crucial five wickets for Pakistan. Also, Taijul Islam's 2 wickets and Taskin Ahmed's 2 wickets were very much needed for Bangladesh's victory.
When Pakistan was playing well in the fourth wicket, it seemed that they were moving very confidently towards victory, but in the next few moments, the whole scenario changed and the victory was tilted in Bangladesh's direction. In the end, Bangladesh won the match by 104 runs.
Nazmul Hasan's century and 87 runs in the second innings enriched the Bangladesh scoreboard and in the end, I think the Bangladesh bowlers were able to fulfill their responsibility properly.

Overall Pakistan's performance in this match was not good from choosing to field first, their fielding was also the worst. While they were missing a quality spinner, as Bangladesh declared, I was having a feeling they were lacking 30 or 40 runs, but Nahid Rana did an impressive job and burst the tail enders quickly this was a big success for him and Bangladesh.

Pakistan is now having a big decline in test they are heading for their lowest level in bowling and batting. Experienced batsmen fail to perform as expected all were in a hurry. Their selection policy is also under criticism, but no one cares about this; they just enjoy success in the PSL, but cricket is already at its worst.

Pakistan disappointed performance continue in test cricket because in first time Pakistan lost three test matches against Bangladesh. After loosing this first match Pakistan is at seventh position on point table of world test championship while Bangladesh is at number sixth position on point table. Pakistan middle order flopped in second inning of test match no one score cross 30 runs and lost the match very badly by 104 runs. Pakistan batters didn't survive in last 2 session of the fifth day. Nahid Rana bowl a classical spell in second inning picking five important wickets and assisted Bangladesh to win first test match and lead the series with 1-0. Shan masood giving disappointed performance so far as a text Captain and I think Pakistan cricket borad needs to change it immediately.

Yes exectly, but Bangladesh completly turned it by its incredible performance winning by 104 runs against Pakistan. Pakistan's batting in the second inning was so disappointing apart from abdullah. Bangladesh performed so well throughout the match especially Najmul hussain shanto. our batsmans did not perform well nor our bowler but bowler of Bangladesh deserve huge praise for maintaining pressure and implementing their plans brilliantly in the second inning. if they carry the same momentum into the second test, they will have a great chance continuing their strong run.
