Pakistan won the game in really good way, before the test match I was thinking that Pakistan couldn't win the match even at their home ground because South Africa who recently won the World test Championship while last time Pakistan having worst performance in test matches.

But this time Pakistan have a good start for their next WTC journey, while on the other hand they are still some games for South Africa to improve and beat Pakistan in their home ground. For South African supporters, I am hoping that they their batters can somehow play against Noman Ali is really wonderful and magical spinner that batsman cannot judge to go with which shot or how to play him.

The Test match between Pakistan and South Africa was a low-scoring one. The bowlers dominated the match. Noman Ali took a total of 10 wickets in both innings for Pakistan, taking 6 wickets in the first innings and 4 wickets in the second innings, while Shaheen Afridi took four wickets in the last innings. On the other hand, among the South African bowlers, Senuran Muthusamy took 6 wickets in the first innings and 5 wickets in the second innings, taking a total of 11 wickets, and Harmer took one wicket in the first innings and four wickets in the last innings, taking a total of five wickets. When Pakistan were all out for just 167 runs in the second innings, it seemed that South Africa was going to win the match, but due to South Africa's batting failure in the last innings, they lost by 93 runs. Except for South African batsman Dewald Brevis who scored 54 runs in the last innings, no other batsman could have batted significantly better. If the South African batsmen had shown responsibility, the match should have been won by South Africa. Anyway, congratulations to Pakistan for winning the Test match against South Africa.

Asian countries (perhaps with the exception of India) continue to create dust bowls when SENA nations visit them. Well, this may give them temporary boost in terms of ICC rankings, but in the long run it is going to harm them. I never understood why Pakistan is doing this. This is a team that once produced legendary pacers such as Imran Khan, Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis, Shoaib Akhtar and Aaqib Javed. The best they have now is Shaheen Shah Afridi. And this is not helping the spinners either. They still don't have a world class spinner.

Pakistan still in upper hand, they have Noman Ali who is an extraordinary and wonderful spinner at the age of 39 he can take multiple wickets and spin the ball easily.  The entire game right now is depended on him.

South Africa can some how play against other bowlers but facing trouble against him and lose wickets.
In the first innings Pakistan had a very good lead that we can say they almost wasted the chance of scoring in the second innings but still they are in control. Two days are left and everything is going in the favour of Pakistan at their home ground Gaddafi stadium.

It is clear that Pakistan still has upper hand, largely due to great and very good spinner, Noman Ali. He is biggest problem for South Africa and he is controlling way game is taking even though he is 39 years old. Though Pakistan did not get number of runs they could have made during their second turn to bat, their huge lead in first turn and benefit of playing on their home ground, Gaddafi Stadium, they are still in a good position with two days left. South Africa is giving Noman Ali hard time, but any try they make to make partnerships will force Pakistan to try harder to get rest of players out.

Pakistan team won 1 st test game against South Africa team and after seeing effort of Pakistan team in 2 nd day i felt something that Pakistan team will win this test game and their bolwers looked very confident and showed very brilliant effort. In 1 st turn, Pakistan team made 378 good runs and Imam and Shan both performed well and Imam scored 93 rusn and Sham scored 76 runs. After making strong partnerships next Agha and Rizwan both batted great and helped team to make good runs. South Africa all batsmen lost wickets for 269 runs, Noman and Sajid bowlers bowled outstanding and took down total 9 wickets. In 2 nd turn, Pakistan team batted so poor and in this turn, they scored only 167 runs and bowlers secored this win by showing great struggle and Noman again showed mind blowing effort and took down 4 wickets.

South African batsmen struggled against some very ordinary Pakistani spin. Noman Ali picked up a total of 10 wickets in the match, and he was ably supported by Sajid Khan. And then it was left to Shaheen Shah Afridi, to clean up the tail. South African spinners picked wickets (especially Senuran Muthusamy, Prenelan Subrayen and Simon Harmer), but they were expensive as well. In particular, Harmer leaked a lot of runs in the first innings and that was one of the main reasons why Pakistan put up such a large first innings total.

Yeh pitch isn't offering much spin early on and that's why Pakistan properly utilize it and score some handosme runs, I think that's Pakistan plan they know later things will be worse so they scored as much as high possible and that's why they choose bat first after toss win too. Morever the great things is finally Pakistani premier bowlers Shaheen get his sharpness after struggle for a long also bobby the get some how get his touch and look like to make a comeback which will definitely blow team confidence despite whome are they up against and how formidable are they.

It's quite good for Pakistan they way they countiue thier WTC journey by beating proteas the defending champions early on, now they have series against Bangladesh back so home so definitely will be a White wash victory morever against west indies results will same too, while against Siri Lankan things will be not that much tough to divert in thier favor if they played quality cricket, but yeh Aussie and English may give them tough time.

Your balanced view is right in stating great importance of series and how Pakistan has history of getting too sure of themselves when they win, and they should not do so to finish job. Although Pakistan cannot lose series at this stage, victory would do great things to their team spirit since they have just won first Test by huge difference of 93 runs, and it is surprising that opponent had won last 17 matches in row. Still, pressure is very high regarding next final Test match as so called complacency can easily lead them to defeat, which would make series 1-1, as South African team will be stronger, so next game is really hard to guess.

Depending on spinners to win the home matches, at a time when they don't have any world class spinners in the squad, may not be the best thing to do. And in the long run, this is definitely going to harm them, especially when they tour the SENA nations such as Australia and South Africa.

It was a great win for Pakistan against South Africa in the first Test match. Since India and South Africa will play only two Test matches, Pakistan has taken a big step forward in the series by winning the first match. The behavior of the wicket in the first Test match makes it at least certain that the second match is very unlikely to be a draw, unless the curator changes the wicket a lot in the second Test match. Pakistan will have to perform better in the second Test match, especially they will have to focus more on their batting. If Pakistan wins the second Test match, Pakistan will secure the series against South Africa, but if South Africa wins the match against Pakistan, then the result of this Test series will be tied 1-1.

Speaking of quality spinners, idk if it's surprising for many but pakistan has produced 7 bowlers who took 200 or more wickets in test cricket and 4 of them are spinners. Imran, Wasim and waqar are the seamers and after that no one even touched the 200 wickets and this list includes the likes of Shoaib, amir, gul, asif.

Another thing to watch out for is the toss, the team winning the toss would get some added advantage.
