The first day of 1st test between South Africa and India was interesting. South Africa got all out for a very small score of 159 and India starting their innings on the 1st day itself. This game is going to end in a win or loss and most probably a win for India.

This match was not very interesting because South Africa has proven to be a weak team in front of India strength. India is a good and hard working team due to which it was difficult for South Africa to play strong and Victory against them. If they played well and did not get careless, they could have made a target of up to 300 which would have made it difficult for India to succeed to some extent. South African batsmen have made this target enough easy, so Indian batsmen have scored 30 runs and lost 1 wicket so far. If South African bowlers continue to be tough in the same way, then in addition to their victory, they can give them a hope of victory in the next innings.

Ireland team at the moment are not a strong one. They face defeats against other associate teams and Bangladesh even though had many setbacks recently is a much better team. They proved themselves by winning the first test against Ireland by an innings and 47 runs. Every Bangladeshi batsmen and bowler performed well against Ireland.
They are further to play one more test and three T20, all of which I believe would be dominated by Bangladesh.

To be honest it was kinda unbelievable for me that Bangladesh team really did that kind of awesome performance after all Ireland team not so weak from them in test format. So I was expecting the average performance from the Bangladesh team as well also have fear in mind that Ireland could be also danger for Bangladesh team.

When when I am seeing the scoreboard it was really the opposite even Ireland team did good batting in the first innings but Bangladeshi batters are gone up of that and I will give big creadit Mahmudul Hasan Joy who did his career best performance in this match 171run as well the Lord Shanto also took up his century, Shadman Islam took 80, Mominul Haque 82, Litton Das 60 Which I would say is a score that is absolutely eye-catching for fans. Anyway, I would like the Bangladesh team to perform like this again in the second Test match.

But I am not that impressed with the South African squad selection. Keshav Maharaj is deservingly in the team as their first spinner. They should have added either Senuran Muthusamy or Penelan Subrayen to support him, but they went for Simon Harmer. Also, I noticed that there is only one black African in the team (Bavuma). What happened to all the transformation target BS?

A couple of alliances made by India in Day 2 will enable them to comfortably lead. With this healthy bowling India stands at a good position now.

Should be okay if he's skipping useless whiteball bilaterals. Tests + ICC+ IPL and if possible Asia Cup, although I prefer him resting there. For now just enjoy his magic and hope for the best that he remains fit for atleast 5 more years, atleast for red ball cricket.

I think he will be skip ODI series against South Africa & will play last 3 T20I against SA .He will skip ODI series against New Zealand too & join for T20 series as that is the last series before t20 world cup & india will try to play that with full strength squad.
so , that's a 2 week rest for him after SA test series & then 1 month rest before NZ T20 series.

Probably. He was pushed to the brink in the recent England series which is why management needs to use him more wisely.

He was over bowled but in BGT (aus tour), he broke his back there as every other bowler shat the bed and rohit kept asking him to bowl extra ( stump mic caught a conversation there, where Bumrah said to Rohit " bhai ab jaan nhi lag rahi". In England everyone chipped in and his workload was under control.

Now if South africa can give a target of 220 +, then it will be very difficult  for India to win. The match will also be enjoyable.

If Ireland's batsmen are in this situation in Sylhet, how will they do in Mirpur in the 2nd Test? 1st Test match between Ireland and Bangladesh. Bangladesh won by a strong lead. Ireland completed its two innings. while Bangladesh won the game with just a single innings. Ireland team did lot of mistakes due to which they got knocked out at 286 runs. Bangladesh scored 587 runs in its first innings so they got a lead of 301 runs. South Africa lost 7 wickets in the first innings to the pacers, but South Africa have lost 7 wickets in the second innings to the spinners so far. Now the question is, can South Africa actually give India a 100-run lead?  However, South Africa must ensure this Test because if they give a team like India a 100-run lead in a Test, it will be difficult or easy for India, you can guess. South Africa will not be able to score as many runs in the second innings as they did in the first innings, especially since they scored 159 runs in the first innings but have fallen to 97 runs for seven wickets in the second innings so far.

Proteas has never been prepared for these turning wickets against top quality four spinners so they are facing troubling time at Eden Gardens in second inning as well. Bavuma is trying his best but on other side no one giving any support to increase their chances but if they are still able to have 100+ runs lead, that could be more interesting.

South Africa lost wickets very quickly. Except for captain Temba Bavuma, no other batsman played well. Bavuma is still unbeaten on 29 runs. Since South Africa has already lost 7 wickets, it will not be possible for them to give the target of 150 runs. I guess South Africa will lose the remaining three wickets before adding 30 runs to the scoreboard tomorrow.

Today was truly a day dominated by the spinners and Ravindra Jadeja is in the best position among the spinners with 4 wickets. You are right that the current condition of South Africa's Test score has 100% gone to India.

No matter how hard South Africa tries, they will never be able to draw or win this match because a target of just 61 runs for the loss of 7 wickets is never a winning target in a Test.
