As we know that first test between New Zealand and West Indies is on 4th day, and New Zealand is completely winning game, and it is likely that team has announced completion of their second innings with declaration at 466/8. Having scored 231 and then 466/8 with great centuries by Tom Latham and Rachin Ravindra, New Zealand has built huge lead of 531 runs. They will try to bowl out West Indies in two days to come and it is not very likely that West Indies will be able to bat long enough to make it draw and thus New Zealand is sure to win.

A much better batting performance by the West Indies team in the 2nd innings but that effort is still not going to save this match. WI will go into day 05, need 319 more runs, that is always going to be difficult and with 6 wickets in hand, its impossible.

The big question is whether the West Indies team will be able to play the 90 overs tomorrow and save the game. Everything depends upon how long Shai Hope and Justin Greaves will bat. They can't bat the full three sessions and if they get out early, there isn't anyone who can bat with such determination and commitment of not losing the wickets.

Looks like the second test will also go to the Aussies or end as a draw since I don't see England winning this one at all. Archer is the only one that is bowling well while the rest are clearly struggling. They are missing bowlers like Woakes, Rashid etc.

Literally every Aussie batsman is playing well and the Barmy Army are probably losing it. One sided tourney so far sadly.

Bazballers going with over 4 rpo is a norm but Aussie scoring at 6 rpo against the bazballers?

With 3 mm grass left on the deck I was promised domination of bowlsheviks and whimpering effect on batiarchy but script seems to be going in opposite direction.

I always knew this was going to happen , Aussie doesn't just want to win Ashes one sided but also wants to humilate BazBallers so they can say after series that Aussie always play Aggresive & fearless cricket , just that we don't give it a fancy name for marketing.

Gabba lost it essence , it's pretty much a good batting wicket no matter grass size although Root decided to stand up in 1st innings otherswise sub par score of 250 was always on cards for Poms.

5 catches dropped so far , 100+ runs lead for Aussie here & this game is done for England ..not to mention Stokes looks lil injured.

England opens the inning with Zak Crawley and Ben Duckett , during the first session of day 1 England lost early on wickets of Ben Duckett and Ollie Pope on duck but Zak Crawley and Joe Root make a strong comeback for England and Zak scores a well inning of 76 runs and Joe Root scores a solid inning of 135 runs and remain not out and also Harry Brook scores a well knock of 31 runs and in middle order England seemed to be struggled but Will jacks give support to team by 19 runs and in lower order Jofra Archer scores a well knock of 32 runs and remain not out and at the end of day 1 England scores 325 runs with the loss of 9 wickets.

Early batters of the team Australia provided the good start to the team in their first innings. Travis Head got out on 33 but the top order mainly Jake Weatherald and Marnus Labuschagne making a great kind of partnership, that helped the team. On the other hand if we talk about the start for the England team, they lost early two wickets, two got on duck but then a great man arrived, that was Joe Root, who with an outstanding knock.

And definitely that wouldn't going be easy  for the England team as well, most chances to stop again around 300, and then Australia will going to be easy win this match but here if the England batting line up could make resistance, then we can also see draw here.

Yeah, if we compare the overall match, we note that it was Tom Latham and Rachin Ravindra batting in the 2nd innings that clearly made NZ ahead in this match and they may win it too.

Both these batsmen made almost 150 runs each and it just created the performance difference between the two teams. Also the innings by Rachin Ravindra was almost run a ball where he made 176 runs in 185 runs. He hit 27 fours in this innings and that is good when you know it is a test match.
