I think this Sydney deck went on to bit of flatter side because of 2 days finish for 2 tests, atleast that's what this deck behaved in the second session.

usually spinners do good in Sydney so quite surprising to see no spinner in the Aussie playing XI. It tells you another side story, Aussie has no backup for baldy Lyon.

England became far more judicious after Root and Brook had been settled into place, and that duo was able to demonstrate how effective traditional Test cricket could be, particularly when the Australian conditions were hostile. Bazball has its grounds, and it is too dangerous to rely on it blindly even when playing against Australia on foreign soil. England is at 347/6 l, and Root is batting great on 139 not out after hitting his 41st Test century. Although Australian bowlers like Mitchell Starc and Scott Boland have recently gotten some important wickets like Ben Stokes and Harry Brook, choice to play without main spinner looks like risk on this pitch in Sydney. I believe that with the help of Root and tail, getting the total over 450 by attacking part time spinners of Australia, England will have great chance of saving their honor and ending series with strong 3-2 score.
