New Zealand is heavily dependent on seamers, and this time experienced pacers such as Trent Boult and Tim Southee were absent. But then, Will O’Rourke and Mitchell Santner carried out their duties extremely well.

I think there are many reasons for Pakistan's match, one of them being their poor batting line-up. Pakistan don't have any confident players who can win the match Mohammad Rizwan and Salman Ali Agha are giving good performances but it is not the intention of all the other players to show the responsibility.

Yesterday Pakistan once again lost their fans hopes, I think Babar Azam should not open the game in the Champions Trophy, he is a good player as one down as he is used to it before and scoring well, he could open in T20 and in ODI, Test matches he needs to come in one down and then maybe he is able to make a partnership and steady the pressurized situation while scoring well. Salman Ali Agha has good position in the playing 11 and also Muhammad Rizwan, which is why they both are playing with consistency and in good form but Babar Azam is unable to adjust himself as an opener.

New Zealand had a loss of an early wicket at the start when Will Youngs was out on 5 but after that loss, New Zealand did not lose any further wickets and faced no problem in chasing this total and becoming the champions.



By the way, tomorrow they will play the warm up match against Afghanistan for Champions Trophy and when we see that New Zealand can bat Pakistan and South Africa multiples times so I don't think they will lose against Afghanistan. After defeat in test series finally Zimbabwen side able to seek revenge from Irish in first match of ODI series, Zimbabwe wasn't looking strong enough to score such high but surprisingly one of his young opener Brian Bennett done ordinary performance and smashed rest of opponent bowlers and scored a very handsome innings of 150+  and thus through partnership with his captain they put enough number on board. While on the other hand Ireland were on trouble from strat of the innings, as one of thier opener departure with golden duck while rest of thier batter struggle due to phenomenal spell of B. If we talk about the overall series, New Zealand has played very well against Pakistan, that's why they have been able to win this tri-series. In the first match of tri series the New Zealand batsmen have performed brilliantly. Gillian Phillips' century gave New Zealand the lead in the first match and the New Zealand team took that confidence to win the tri-series final against South Africa and Pakistan in the next matches. Salman Ali Agha scored a deep-dive for Pakistan scoring his maiden hundred and great performance in the overall series will be very good but Pakistan face difficult in batting order. Champion Trophy is about to start, Babar Azam should not play open, Babar Azam should play in middle order if Pakistan want to win matches.

I agree with you because the Pakistan team has become dependent on the performances of Muhammad Rizwan and Salman Ali Agha. Pakistan team will miss Sam Ayub in the Champions League because the opening of Sam Ayub and Fakhar Zaman would have been a powerful opening in the Champions League, but saim Ayub injury changed the momentum of the Pakistani team. Mohammad Rizwan and Salman Ali Agha helped Pakistan a lot with a record run chase against South Africa. Salman Ali Agha is awarded Player of the Series for scoring the most runs in the series. Hopefully they will learn from what happened and play better in Champions League. It has to be either India or Australia. And given the history in ICC tournaments so far, I would rather favor Australia. Steve Smith as the captain has his task cut out. But they are missing most of their strike bowlers. Pace bowling department will be lead by Spencer Johnson, with Sean Abbott and Ben Dwarshuis to support him. Nathan Ellis maybe included in the XI as well. For spin, they have the young and raw Tanveer Sangha to provide backup for Adam Zampa. And in spin-friendly conditions in Pakistan, Travis Head may also be handy.

Hopes with Pakistan, I don't think so    Pakistan were considered as the weakest team and before the match between Pakistan and South Africa, it was South Africa who were favorite to win but somehow miracle happened and the Pakistan batsmen played too well that we developed hopes with them for the final match too. But nothing of that similar sort of performance was witnessed at the final match. Pakistan team have some of the good players but they rarely play as a team together and I think this lack of consistency will hurt them in the upcoming champions trophy too.
