Bet on South Africa in the first ODI and they didn't disappoint me at all. Both Markram and Bavuma carried over their excellent Champions Trophy form into this match and screwed the Aussies.

However, I didn't expect Australia to lose by such a big margin which isn't really surprising though considering how so many of their players are out of form and they are missing Starc + Cummins.

The first ODI between South Africa and Australia was a bit strange to me. When I stopped watching the game, South Africa batted in their first innings and at that time South Africa had scored 240 runs and 5 wickets in 40 overs, but when I saw the score after the game, it seemed a bit surprising to me. While South Africa was expected to cross 300 runs in the first innings, South Africa scored only 296 runs in the first innings against Australia. The wickets were helpful, as was evident from South Africa's batting in the first innings, but when Australia came out to bat with a target of 297 runs in the second innings, they somehow couldn't get much advantage against the spin bowlers, which led to them losing their wickets to the South African bowlers. In the first ODI, South Africa finally won the field against Australia by a large margin, although I expected Australia to win.

We expected that Australian International ODI cricket team will chase the score in this match as that is one of the best team of the World and many players of that team are playing different leagues and they are earning high income in this league. Mitchell Marsh tried to give support to the team when team situation was very bad in this match because that team gave more runs in this match due to which opponent team was dominant in this match.  South Africa International cricket team will win the series by 2-1 which is my prediction because they have great confidence after Winning the WTC final and series .Players should continue this performance if they want to win this series . Australia team should work on the weaknesses.

And also I would like to mention that Australia is not ranking on the first, one there currently placed on third rank on ODI format in ICC , and on the other and South African team is on the 6th place.

And at the same time I will also say that the Australian team lost the first match in the ODI format not because they played very badly in the ODI format but because they did not give the Australian batsmen a performance workout in this match and that is why they lost this match. Otherwise, I think the Australian team is stronger than the South African team in the ODI format.

Something is really wrong with the Australian batsmen nowadays. And I am noticing this for the last 6 months or so, across all the formats. Jake Fraser McGurk became a gigantic flop, and the much talked Travis Head is not scoring runs nowadays. Mitchell Marsh is the only one with some sort of consistency, and he made 88 during the last match as well. Why Marnus Labuschagne and Cameroon Green are even included in the squad? Labuschagne is in poor form for quite long time. In case of Green, he is not even bowling nowadays.

As such, Travis Head, Josh Inglis' performance is not good, Josh Inglis was dismissed for 0 runs in the 1st and 3rd matches in the T20 series and also failed in the 1st match of the ODI series, so in my opinion it might be better to give another batsman a chance instead of Josh Inglis. Travis Head did not do well in the T20 series, and did slightly better in the 1st match of the ODI series, but such a performance in the ODI format is not enough. Travis Head tried to bat aggressively in the 1st match of the ODI series, now in the next match he should patiently try to bat well. However, if Australia wants to turn around, their players will have to perform well. I think Australia will be able to turn around in the 2nd match.

The matches being played in this series are the most important for South Africa because this victory of theirs focuses on their better performance and their development.

Their efforts and hard work have laid the foundation for their strength in which they have defeated the Australian team very badly, due to which South Africa has to work very hard to victory this series. Obviously, when you work hard and play well, it definitely pays off and the South African team has also played the match in the same way and has succeeded. This was a tough and good target from their side and the Australian batsmen could not play even close to it and they had to get a very bad defeat by a large margin. Australia cannot be weak in one match, but we will consider South Africa as a very good team if they play well with a strong team and they will have to play the same way for Australia.

I think we are really underestimating Australian just on the behalf of thier recent single one side defeat against African, despite the Factor of being knowing that Australia were always prepared and knows how to make a comeback at crucial stages, and they always deliver it whenever needed and surprise everyone as results were always then out of imagination. Anyway tomorrow Gona be thier second and series results deciding match as if proteas able to get dominance then results will turn into 2-0, but if Aussies then it will be tie and we will get an another opportunity to enjoy do or die spicy match.

Now if Australia lost the first match because of Pat Cummins and Mitchell Starc, then Australia will lose the second match too, especially since these two players are out of the squad. Moreover, the Australian batsmen were defeated in the first match by the extraordinary bowling skills of Kesev Maharaj.
There will most likely be no change in South Africa's second match, so it will be very difficult for Australia to level the score by winning the second match. On the other hand, if South Africa performs like we saw in the first match, then South Africa will definitely win the second match.

Australia is still the best team and probably on the same level as India, and bad day can happen to any team and they can even crumble under 100 for team total but it should not be considered as their actual potential, they can play better than that.

I am not watching any of these SA vs AUS tour but it could be due to the fact it's just a bilateral so they didn't go with their full potential because if we look at their history they will look like an average team until the day comes like semi or final then they will play like no one can beat them. Travis Head was overhyped due to the IPL so he should recover from that and focus on his batting, apart from that everything is good in Australian team.

Kenya set total record runs for 115 and lost the match. Jersey completed record of kenya team and chased total runs for 116 and won the match.
