I had posted about the match between Bihar and Arunachal Pradesh at the Vijay Hazare Trophy yesterday. After Bihar scored a total of 574/6, they bowled out Arunachal Pradesh for just 177. Bihar's total is a record for the List A matches, and the winning margin (397 runs) is also another record. Bihar is placed in Plate Group along with the smaller teams such as Meghalaya and Manipur, and I am not sure whether this time they have the promotion/relegation system to the Elite tier. Pakistan Under-19 team defeated India by 191 runs in the final match, which made most of the cricket fans happy because Pakistan Under-19 team was able to defeat India Under-19 team in a one-sided manner. India Under-19 team is definitely strong but they could not perform well against Pakistan. None of their batsmen could perform well due to which India Under-19 team lost the final match very badly. India Under-19 team should have been more responsible in an important match like the final match, maybe they thought that since the opponent is Pakistan Under-19 team, we will easily defeat Pakistan, maybe India Under-19 team lost due to overconfidence. Pakistan Under-19 team must maintain the winning streak with which they won the final match so that they can perform better in the future.

I think most of the people who bet on this match lost their bets because most of the people around me were convinced that the Indian Under-19 team would defeat the Pakistan Under-19 team in the final and win the title, but it turned out to be the opposite. The Pakistan Under-19 team performed just as well in batting as in bowling, taking all the wickets of the Indian Under-19 team in just 26.2 overs. Bihar is one of the most populous states in India, with a population of close to 135 million. On top of that, the Bihari diaspora in other states number more than 100 million. And they were so close to losing, against a state with a population of less than 3 million. And I am quite impressed with Manipur. Despite its tiny population, this state has produced some of the best athletes in India. It was 19-year old Pheiroijam Jotin Singh who created problems for Bihar.

Hmm, actually this match has crushed all the past record in cricket history, lol! It is not just that Bihar scored a big score actually they are also making 574 runs for 5 wickets in 50 overs against Arunachal which is still the world record for the highest score in an inning in mens List A cricket

Vaibhav Suryavanshi alone played twelve inning, playing a devastating inning of 190 run in just 84 ball, where his century was also super fast. Not only that I could see the Bihar captain and another batter also scoring centuriy in the same inning. Later Arunachal  was all out for just 177 run which mean Bihar won by a huge margin of 397 run. This margin alone tells us how big the difference in strength between the two team was.

In my opinion it would not be wrong to call Arunachals  performance very bad, in fact their bowler were losing their grip in the face of this storm. However this batting extravaganza by Bihar will be an event to remember in cricket for a long time!
