Today Sri Lanka and England play in first ODI at R. Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, and it is big new beginning for both teams after recent series losses. Spin friendly weather in Colombo will be big part, and will place much of weight on England hitters in match to top spinners of Sri Lanka such as Wanindu Hasaranga and Maheesh Theekshana.

As Harry Brook leads attacking English team that has stars such as Joe Root and Jos Buttler, captain of the Sri Lankan team, Charith Asalanka, plans at saving great home record that team has on ground where they have recently beaten top teams. And here I think England is little bit stronger as Compare to Sri Lanka so they can win this match.

It was a really enjoyable game between England and Sri Lanka. Sri Lankan  batters showing there aggression in batting and completely dominating on England bowlers and also Lankan bowlers showing there class well and Sri Lanka  won the game. Kusal Mendis  played a very classical and aggressive inning while giving the target. He was in good touch and contributed 93 runs in total and unfortunately missing his century by a short margin and the target was given by Sri Lanka is  272 runs. Target seems to be strong but in realtime its not easy to defend it because the pitch is supporting to batters and also the England batters are well knowing according to their aggressive batting but instead of these factors Sri Lanka  well perform in bowling and also  utilities the bowling lineup according to perfect plane. England don't utilizes its bowling line up perfectly especially don't use there Pacers and focous on spiners which turns the game in favor of Sri Lanka   but Sri Lanka shows very wise bowling plane and at the that easily defend the target of 272 runs and won the game.

Tomorrow Pakistan U19s team will play game against Zimbabwe U19s team and lets see who will win this game. England U19s vs Scotland U19s game, Scotland U19s team won toss and they got chance to choose bat and fielding lineup first and they selected field first. England U19s from Group C is one of strong and they won all 3 games and in past, they beated Pakistan U19s team. England U19s batsmen set big target 404 runs in 50 overs by losing 6 wickets. Joseph and Ben batsmen helped a lot team to win this game and Joseph scored 81 runs in 65 balls and hitted five 4s and four 6s. Ben made brilliant century 191 runs in 117 balls and hitted eighteen 4s and eight 6s. Scotland U19s also played very poor game against Pakistan U19s team and today they failed to win this game and they chased down 152 runs and lost game by 252 runs. Caleb also helped team in bowling side and took down 3 wickets in 4.5 overs and gave 19 runs.

The game of U19 World Cup Pak U19 and Zim U19 come end with the victory of Pak. Pak chase the easy target of 129 runs and won the game by eight wickets. Zim batted first and not  showing control in batting and panicked in tough conditions and don't showing confident in the game and give a very low taget to Pak in allotted fifty overs. After putting a low target Zim don't defend because they showing a very low quality bowling according to perfect plane which helps in the successful chase for Pak.

Yes ICC Under-19 World Cup format has been facing heavy criticism due to its 12 of 16 to Super Six stage format, which renders group phase insignificant and subject to influence. It was pointed out by Group C finale when Pakistani team faced small target and needed to chase it by taking just 26.2 overs to do task, but when they did so they were accused of deliberate team strategy of tactical slowdown to get Zimbabwe through over Scotland on Net Run Rate.

This is cheating maneuver, which some justify as reasonable tactic and which is decried by others as failure to exhibit sportsmanship, which allows Pakistan to bring significantly superior NRR forward to next round because results against non qualifying teams such as Scotland are thrown out.

Although such teams as Scotland, Tanzania and Japan are now officially eliminated but, through course of controversy, it is clear that rules in place are not fair to competition and that current competition is more of game of mathematics which basically eliminated Scotland without them even playing single match.

Bangladesh U-19 won the toss and elected to field, but USA U-19 were all out for 200 runs in 50 overs. Although 200 runs is not a difficult target for Bangladesh U-19, Bangladesh U-19 will easily win today's match. However, if Bangladesh wins today's match, the United States will be eliminated and Bangladesh will qualify, beating India and New Zealand.

So I can believe with a lot of certainty that Pakistan U-19 team is going to beat Zimbabwe U-19 team in this match.

Zimbabwe Under-19s today showed very poor performance. Too much  batting today they played. Only one player could make well runs, remaining other players gave back to back wickets. They scored just 128 runs in 35.5. No partnership no performance very disappointed batting by Zimbabwe team. But credit goes to Pakistani bowlers they bowled very well today. Ali Raza bowled very good as he bowled before. He gave 16 run and took 3 wickets in 8 overs only. Also Abdul shuban contribution was well, he gave 14 runs in 7 overs and got 2 wickets.
On the other hand Pakistan team runs chased in 26.2 overs in the loss of 2 wickets. Sameer Minhas played great inning he scored 74 runs in which 3 sixes and 6 fours included, and he stayed on the crease till end. Anyways congratulations to the Pakistan team for a great victory.

England was favourite before the start of this game but things were on balance for both due to poor bowling from English bowlers and sloppy batting by Sri Lanka in early overs. Dunith Wellalage hits 3 fours and 1 six in 50th over and 23 runs scored that changed the entire momentum of this match toward Sri Lankan favour.

Before the start of England chase, 271 was looking not easy to chase but second wicket partnership between Ben Duckett and Joe Root made things possible then another collapse brought them down while Overturn try with bat as well, but this was not enough to have win in this match and Sri Lanka inning's last over difference handed loss to England. Bangladesh squad simply achieved total scores and emerged victory with huge difference 7 wickets and 51 deliveries.  Azizul Hakim was top scorer of this match and he played wonderful inning and managed to collect 64 scores. Rifat Beg and Zawad Abrar also built great partnership and both collected 30 and 47 scores respectively.

USA Under19 team finished their world cup journey in close 7 wickets loss to Bangladesh Under19 in Harare when they were unable to protect total of 199. As Adnit Jhamb was playing well to get his 68 runs, USA batting team was unable to deal with great show of bowler Iqbal Hossain Emon who took three early wickets to take title of Player of the Match.

Bangladesh reached goal with fair ease in only 41.3 overs, with calmness being shown by captain Azizul Hakim who made 64 runs and openers Zawad Abrar and Rifat Beg. This result confirms news of performance difference of USA who are knocked out after three in row defeats and moving forward of Young Tigers to Super Sixes with India and New Zealand.
