By playing first India Women team scored 214 runs and all team dismissed. It was very disappointing inning today they played. This is not enough runs in ODI match they should scored minimum 300 plus runs but they could not do this. Smriti Mandhana,Kashvee Gautam and Harmanpreet Kaur scored well runs but they used more balls. I think if they played little fast then they could make 300 plus runs. On the other hand Australia Women played well inning, firstly they bowled well then they batted well, they chased it in 38.2 overs. To be honest, after the T20 series, when I saw the Indian women's team defeating the Australian team in Australia, I thought that they would be able to defeat the Australian women's team in the ODI format as well, but the Australian women's team proved me completely wrong here.
In front of their amazing bowling performance, the Indian women's batsmen could not survive at all today and were all out for just 214 runs and the Australian women's team achieved the victory in just 38.2 overs, that too with 6 wickets in hand. What I'm basically seeing in the ODI series is that the Australian team is performing the opposite of how they performed in the T20 format.

Yeah, in 1st ODI game Australia Women defeated India Women by 6 wickets. India Women opens inning first with Pratika Rawal and Sumriti Mandhana and  among the openers Sumriti gives a very positive start to the team by scoring 58 runs but Pratika loses her wicket early on duck and in middle order Harmenpreet played a well knock of 53 runs and also Kashvee Gautam played a well knock of 43 runs and India W team scored big target of 215 runs for Australia W. For India, it was the top order that crashed, not the middle order. They were at 52/3 when Jemimah Rodrigues got out. Smriti Mandhana and Harmanpreet Kaur added valuable runs for the 4th wicket, but they also took their own sweet time to do it. And once Smriti got out, it was again back to normal. It was Kashvee Gautam towards the end who propped up the run rate with a few big hits. Harmanpreet in particular had a very poor strike rate for this match. She ended up with 53 runs from 84 balls. Ashleigh Gardner ended up with 3 crucial wickets for the Australians, and this included the wickets of Harmanpreet and Jemimah.

Australia Women lost the T20 series and therefore they need a strong start in the ODI series and they did exactly what they hoped. A win by 6 wickets gives a strong message to the opponents not to take them lightly in the remaining two matches.

Alyssa Healy got a 50 at the top and then it was followed by Beth Mooney who made 76 runs. This was not all, Annabel Sutherland played a beautiful innings and remained on the wicket till the end. I felt sorry for her of not completing the half century and missed it by 2 runs but then the joy was way more as they have won the match and lead the series 1-0.

I had predicted their win in this series after seeing their better performance yesterday and the T20 loss and it was possible for their performance to improve because winning this series would make up for the loss in the previous series. Ind Women's players used to set a similar target in the 20-over innings but their target remained the same in the 50 over innings and they were under a lot of pressure owing to which Aus Women took full advantage and made this win a success but still Ind Women's performance can be considered better because there are still 2 games left and Ind Women's players play with a lot of struggle owing to which Aus Women cannot be considered much better. 2 nd ODI game of series between Pakistan-W and South Africa-W teams was played today at SuperSport Park ground. In start of game, Pakistan-W team won toss and they got chance to take first bat or bowl and they elected field first. South Africa-W team batsman batted so brilliant and set big target 361 runs in 50 overs by losing 8 wickets. Tazmin effort in opening of lineup was great and she made 77 runs in 62 balls and hitted ten 4s and two 6s. Annerie also helped team to win this game and she scored 90 runs in 68 balls and six 6s and four 6s. Pak-W team tried their best effort to chase big target  but unfortunately they lost game by close margin 16 runs and their batsmen chased 345 runs. Annerie got player of game award and she deserved this award because her effort in bowling side was also very helpful and she took down 3 wickets.

You are correct in saying that losing Sidra Amin at that early time on only nine runs was surprising event, had she been at front of order, result could have been something different. This 3 rd game was played at National Cricket Stadium and in start of game, Sri Lanka-W team won toss and they chose bat first and this decision of was not in favor of Sri Lanka-W team. Although Sri Lanka had won total series 2-1, their decision to be first to bat against them when they could only score 217/7, failed since captain Hayley Matthews had caught total with score of 100 off 119 balls. Matthews was clear Player of the Match in her 100 runs and her 2/33 with ball while Karishma Ramharack kept putting pressure on match with two wickets and Deandra Dottin closing game without losing her wicket with not out 24 runs. I believe that this win completely brings back speed in upcoming 1st T20I, as of February 28, in my opinion, 50-50 game between steady spin on one side and total batting strength on other side that belongs to Sri Lanka and West Indies each.
