Scotland vs Nepal

Scotland did their allotted 200, but they were missing key finishing kick to make impact and it was mid off battle all round. Nepal bowlers bowled great job in bringing pressure when Scotland tried to push tempo, bowlers like Karan KC took two wickets off Nepalese bowlers. Michael English 34 runs off 72 balls in middle really is sign that today was tough day in middle.

Nepal have plenty of wickets to spare infirst 10 overs provided they do not suffer top order collapse, if that can be avoided. But it will be discipline that will be their greatest weapon as Scotland defence. And if they can get some early movement from new ball then 244 runs is going to look like 280 before long. Battle between Nepal chase and Scotland dot ball strategy will be on display in this game.

Scotland cricket team made good target in this match and that team was very high quality and they performed very well in this match. Nepal cricket team could not chase the target in this match and they lose the match at the end. George Munsey played important inning for the team and he made 75 runs for the team which was a big achievement by that player. All team gave full effort in this match but they won the match by DLS method because rain interrupted in this match and opponent team players effort was less as como to opponent team and they could not handle the pressure in last overs and they lose the match at the end. Dipendra Singh Airee tried to give good rhythm to his team but they could not win due to DLS method , otherwise they could win this match.

The match that took place between Scotland and Nepal was played between the first team and set a magnificent target of 243 runs in 50 overs, but when Nepal came to bat, it started raining heavily, due to which the match had to be changed to the DSL method. The overs were reduced to 39 and the target was reduced to 220, but the Nepal team tried hard to chase the target they had set and scored about 218 runs in 39 overs, only two more runs were needed. This is a match for the bowling team, but they had a little bit of a deficit and due to negligence, this match seemed to be going out of their hands. If you look at it, there was good teamwork between both teams and both teams will play very well, but after the result in the match, one team has to win and this match was won by Scotland.

Unfortunately, this match has been abandoned after the toss, because of the bad weather conditions. Also, this was a plus point for the New Zealand women team because they were one kind of  under dog team in this series especially the batting lineup of New Zealand women team couldn't be stable in front of the England women Team bowler. 
But even then, I don't think New Zealand women's team will be able to win this ODI series because there is still a bird in the third match and if that too is abandoned due to rain then England team will win with one match to go. And it will be a bit tough for New Zealand to win against England.

In the second ODI, there was rain, which is why the match finished without even a single ball being bowled. When it was almost the toss time, and the players were just about to come onto the ground for the toss, a shower came, which disturbed the game. The umpires were delaying and delaying and took multiple inspections, but in the end it resulted in no match today, now wait for the third one and hope for no problem there.

It was a close match (Scotland won by 2 runs), but nevertheless Nepal looks doomed at the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League 2. They are unable to improve their standings, despite the fact that recent matches were played at home. They have 18 points from 25 matches, and now there is near zero chance that they can finish at top-4 (which will grant them a direct entry to the 2027 Cricket World Cup Qualifier. As things stand, they will finish either at no.6 or no.7, and this would mean that they need to participate in the 2027 Cricket World Cup Qualifier Play-off.

Scotland and United States of America are playing 104th match of ICC Men's Cricket World Cup League 2. First of all the match is shortened by 3 overs due to rain. Both teams will 47,47 overs. Scotland is playing their turn and they have made 179 runs in 34 overs and they lost 3 wickets. Finlay McCreath and Michael English are making a very good partnership. I think they will make almost 250 runs and that will be a tough target for United States of America. Both teams are at good positions in points table. Both are on top. So this match will be very exciting.

It is huge target to be achieved in 47 overs after rain break, and 321 is good achievement. It is indeed nightmare to go in search of more than 6.8 runs per over. I think Scotland have pretty much nailed this game with that batting performance. Number of score earned at the game in short play, 321, make it easy to see that they are on another level in this tournament. USA strategy is becoming woefully inadequate in chasing such fast pace. If there is nothing of record breaking nature then Scotland are going to walk away with very comfortable win and big lift in their net run rate. Collaboration they had these days was just good one.

The Men’s Selection Committee has picked the India A squad for the upcoming one-day tri-series in Sri Lanka, scheduled to be held in June 2026.The tri-series will feature hosts Sri Lanka A, India A and Afghanistan A. Following the limited-overs tri-series, India A will also play two multi-day matches against Sri Lanka A, with the squad for the red-ball fixtures to be announced at a later date.White-ball series will be played in Dambulla, while the multi-day matches will take place in Galle.

It is a great young team and good to see that they are fast tracking Vaibhav Sooryavanshi but one of the players that broke out and impressed me with their performance and yet not in this team is Prince Yadav, who is a wonderful talent with the ball and they could include in their next camp and help him with more international exposure along with Kartik Tyagi and Angkrish Raghuvanshi.
