Good evening. I was now talking to several people, who are deeply into crypto and as far as i understand, there are basically 3 main types of work with promising alts. We either just choose ones and trade, just invest and wait or mine. Which options are more suitable, from your point of view? Which alts are the most interesting? Is mining/trading/investing profitable? Also very interested to know your personal real life examples and cases. Thanks!
trading is very profitable if you know the way at least you understand technical analysis or fundamentals.  if investment is still new, in my opinion BNB has good long-term potential.  talking about mining for now seems like the cost is too big

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

There is none of the options that is not suitable, it just depend on individual’s interest and their ability which also depends on their level of knowledge and strategy, if you take a look at trading, everyone wants to trade altcoins, but because they lack the ability or understanding to do so, they stay away from it.

Mining on the other hand is also a desire of most people because it can really be a very big profitable business in the long run, but the cost of mining these coins are not that cheap for every average investor to be able to run, so the last option is basically the most favorable and most simple of all for most investors, you buy coin through research and then wait for it to increase. I personally practice this more than every other option that you have there because it is what I capable of that i am doing not because it is the most profitable one.

The choice is yours to make and many will prefer investing over mining because setting up mining rigs cost a lot and remember that electricity fee is there too

In my opinion, mining or directly buying on the market and hold for the long term is the same thing. Mining on certain coins must be for the long term as well as investment. As long as the project is good and traded on a large exchanger, I think both things are worth doing

First, every forum user here has different goals from each other, many of them work between trade, investment and mining. and of course it all depends on how skilled you are before taking part in it. I am personally here to take part in the gift project, invest and occasionally trade. Besides that there are also many other things that you need to know and are important to adapt in this forum. I mean looking for other knowledge that you have never known. I hope you mean this statement.

If you have a large amount of capital and enough knowledge to manage your finances well, all options are right for you. But if you have limited funds, you should only buy and hold the coin.
A little better, you can use a lot of money to trade alts at times of volatility, you can get 5% - 8% every day if you catch up with the trend.
When you have a lot of money and have a good power supply, you should Bitcoin mining.
mining bitcoin is always profitable because every day billions of dollars are traded and excavators will have to operate continuously and get the highest productivity.
Besides, Bitcoin's price is also high and this is a good opportunity for mining.

They are all profitable. But mining nowadays is not that profitable now, however I prefer most trading. Just only choose promising altcoins to trade mainly eth, bnb and those who are on top list. But if you like to do some long term trades, choose main coins like BTC and ETH. If you are a hardworking and serious trader, it is not impossible to gain what you are aiming.

The profitability of the activities you listed is highly dependent on your personal professional qualities and the current market situation. Mining can be very profitable for a certain period of time, as it was in 2017, and then its yield drops sharply and making good money on this becomes problematic. Trading requires a lot of free time and the ability of a person to learn, so not everyone can do it. And investment attracts with its simplicity, but in fact most people lose money on it. I like the idea of combining all this at the same time, it could bring a good result.

Altcoins fell a little bit when bitcoin surpassed $10000 hours ago, but just around one hour ago, bitcoin dumped to nearly $9400, that will give altcoins chance to rise again. Altcoins might rise higher if bitcoin won't be able to maintain its price above $9000 in coming days, till the end of this month. Next few days are very important for bitcoin.

if from my point of view I am more interested in trading, compared to the others. especially if mining requires a large amount of money to prepare equipment. the results of the trading that I do are enough to eat everyday. besides that I also invest in a number of altcoins at the moment like ethereum, bnb and xrp.

I don't even know which alts I would consider worth investing in these days. Many of them need a miracle to go up a lot and I am just tired of believing in miracles. Wink

This is true, however still there are very attractive ones to mine, as I see from my own perspective
how attractive the coin will depend on how much hashrate that you can get if you are having a little hash rate power and you will always get the lose only because what you must be paid will be deficit compared with what will you get from your mining rig.

You are right, but high total hashrates on network do not a good indicator that price is rising. Sometimes, high hashrates conincidences with high price when people move their coins to take profits, and miners join mining more to get profits. However, high hashrates sometimes belong to period when coins hit their bottom ranges, when people panicly selling at bottoms.
