Do you want change? Don't get hundreds of thousands of people together in marches. Rather, get a hundred together who know jury rule, and do something that makes a difference in the world.
so it's a democracy reduced into a jury under the guidance of a judge? Ultimately I don't undersand you way of thinking, I have a way too more systematic approach to things...
So, you missed what I said. Or you don't know jury rule.
Federal District court is a court where the magistrate (judge) is separate from the tribunal. The tribunal is made up of the accuser, the accused, and the jury. If the magistrate interjects law, it is his own belief. It isn't part of the adjudication process in this court unless the tribunal accepts it as such. However, one or more members of the tribunal need to state that the magistrate's belief is just that, a man's belief (the judge's belief). If they don't so state, the magistrate starts to take ownership of the proceedings.
You really need to learn jury rule in a common law court so that you can make changes in an orderly fashion. One hundred common people who understand jury law in a common law court, will make more of a difference using the court system, than 100 million people in marches. Government know this. That's why they don't teach much if any common law in schools... especially law schools.
Democracy is NOT dead, but it should be.
Any country or group that uses a voting system to determine something, is a democracy... majority rule.
The winners of the group - the majority - are controllers over the losers - the minority - in a democracy. At least it seems to be this way at the time the vote is taken.
If the group is big enough, the implementation of the points voted on will be given to a small group to activate and put into effect. This small group does whatever it wants, because it's difficult to track what they are really doing. So, democracy is really dictatorship by a small group.
One good example is the USA. There are 330 million people in the USA. Who cares who wins whatever is voted on, because the implementation of everything is controlled by a few hundred people... the President, Congress and the Judges. It's only once in a while that a jury decides something, giving the people a little of the control.
What's more idiotic right now is that it's easy for everyone to find more facts to determine the truth, and the medias behave abusingly with those trusting them... despicable and deplorable.
Check out where the strongest media exists. It is the local, neighborhood watch. People get together and play cards, or have social gatherings at their respective houses. These people talk. They teach each other. Then they get together with other groups on Facebook or something. If they can't teach others the thing that makes sense, they simply go elsewhere.
