China has been or has made Anti ship missiles. The U.S. will not let China close down the south China Sea to Freedom of navigation so what will happen?


I predict China will be pushed to the edge over Taiwan and Americas support of it's freedom and Independence (Off record) That China will strike a Blow to try and Shock U.S. by sinking an aircraft carrier in hopes to make America take two steps back. I think this approach would Rally all Americans more so than 9/11 and President trump would Nuke China.

So what you're saying is that when you think 'china is going off the edge' you mean that China literally wants the entire world to blow up and to decimate the entire human population because they're denied use to the sea.

A world nation isn't going to go to the extreme of nuclear warfare, as all that is going to do is ensure that the world is decimated and over with. You can't use the sea if all of your people are dead.

That's very improbable. All nations are aware of what a nuclear war would do to the world. You must know that people have some basic needs and one of them is the need for serenity and comfort. Even power hungry nations are not that power hungry to condemn themselves to life in underground fallout bunkers. Nuke will always be the last resort and I don't believe that a conventional strike at a carrier (even if that were to happen) would result in nuclear genocide.

Possible but unlikely IMHO. The most the Chinese did was harass US ships and planes. If they'll attack, they'll likely strike only Taiwanese assets. Taiwan isn't even recognized as a country, neither by the US nor the UN, so there will be some debates on what the president would be allowed to do to defend it as opposed to China striking an American aircraft carrier, which would be a declaration of war.

These days the US can control nuke sizes and delivery. Nuke the Chinese military and government with small nukes that don't hurt the general populace. The people are our friends in trade. It's not that they don't like freedom. They simply don't know how to implement it.

Yeah. Would be far less disastrous than the incendiary bombing of Japanese industrial zones during WW2, where the fire spread out to residential areas killing civilians.

Not gonna happen, No Nukes will probably go off in like a century at least. Nukes are only used by terrorists in these days and US can't use nukes ever since Japan happened, their too scared of their own liberal people will call them evil or something.
