When I first joined the avatar did not change now it says it needs my password to change it, Please let me know what I can do with this dilemma at hand, I typed in the password and it still did not allow me to change my avatar! Trying to advertise a friends charity, Seans Outpost (take a look!) (Post BTCitcoin address for tips for comprehensive, feasible answers!) Thanks in advance! |

Yes, it has been disabled completely by theymos, after bitcointalk being hacked last year. It is not related to your password, your activity or everything. |

As stated above me avatars were disabled because of a hack on the site.You should be able to use avatars once the new forum software comes out but that could take a while...  |

I think changing avatar is possible but its only available for Donators and vip members and mods, i might be totally wrong but i think i have read it somewhere on the forum !!!

Imposible to change the avatar due to it being exploited for one of the hacks.

There is nothing you can do, changing avatars has been disabled for eveyone. There is no eta for when you will be able to change avatars again.

Just wait the 1 million usd forum software it will be finished soon. I'm pretty sure the avatar feature will be included.

I too have been wondering what was the deal with this matter. Didn't know a hack the reason behind this.

It's not available for anybody. Yup, probably because of the exploit. Does something just seem a little ironic about the fact that a cryptocurrency, which emphases security, runs it's official forums on a platform it can't secure short of disable profile pictures? I'm failing to think of any other forum on the Internet that doesn't allow profile pictures out of a security concern. |
