Dash, ETC and Zcash ---- See these going up in value?

Hi,

I'm looking for some coins in the top 30 on coinmarket cap to trade medium term.

Three coins I know very little about, but have been around for some time are; Dash, ETC and Zcash
I never hear anyone talking about Dash or ETC, I even read someone saying ETC was a dead project?. I know Zcash is considered one of the better privacy coins - But privacy coins have not been doing very well lately.

Do you see these coins rising in value against BTC in the next 6 months or so? I know there are safer bets, mainly ones in the top 10.

Top 30 coin to trade in medium term,,
you should think about Binance coin, Ethereum and litecoin
in my predictions all the coins above will growing faster than the others in medium term buddy

Dash is one of the most expensive passive income generating coin through staking. If you haven't heard about it, you don't have to search for it. Dash is still big as other altcoins that are being heard by the community.

Do you see these coins rising in value against BTC in the next 6 months or so? I know there are safer bets, mainly ones in the top 10.

I see these coins rise but there's no certainty if they will rise against bitcoin. The market is hard to predict but if you are holding or bought Dash, you just bought a good altcoin. I'll be of the same opinion with zcash.

Zcash is agood one than Dash or ETC, zcash have multifunction as public wallet and private and its good strategy thats zcash now on coinbase, its good for long term investment

You can try to take a look at veil and i think that was also good altcoin too but there was another choice like pivx. I can say both were better like dash and zcash coin. But i still prefer veil rather than pivx.

I don't see any advantage in any of these 3 coins. They are all shaky projects with shakier teams.

Better off with something solid like XMR, GRIN, etc...

What are you talking about?
All three coins held out well until April 2019. Since then, these coins fall vs BTC. Like the vast majority of others. Maybe these coins are better than many, but by TA its do not differ from the majority. I see no reason why in the next six months these coins will rise vs BTC.

i have some suggestion,
1.LEO from bitfinex,although it like BNB , but the value its soo strong, can resist when bearish time come.
2.BNB , well we know much about this token already. even for medium term, i guess it will be profitable.
3.LINK, recently we know Link break the ATH,although now its already drop 50 % from ATH, but i guess buy on range 2 - 2.5 usd still save for medium term.

From recent year, Zcash chart is showing this to us. It won't rise for the next 6 month or maybe next year.
But there's a possibily for a sudden rise from this coin with strong factors that will affect the price. But for now it wont rise for the next 6 month.
So maybe you should change your portofolio a little bit. Good luck on it

ZEC is a definite dud. Lacks privacy protocols and is just silly.

DASH i equate with strip clubs now.

ETC is a dinosaur.

Dash is focussed on getting its transactions instant, extremely cheap and highly secure. Dash manage to do this by using
instantsend which confirms transactions in a few seconds, locks those transactions against double spending and then
allow the receivers to actually use those amounts right away. The extremely cheap comes from focussing on keeping its transaction costs small
and adjust them to lower values when needed. The security part Dash creates through ChainLocks which make Dash safe from any
51% attack on its network (Of the Proof of Work cryptocurrencies only Dash and Bitcoin Cash are protected against 51% attacks currently, with Bitcoin Cash having a far more
centralized checkpoint system and additional attack vectors)

Further more Dash is focussed for years now on mainstream adoption. Dash hopes to achieve this by implementing Dash Evolution
later this year, which will allow ease of use (a major part of any mainstream effort) and by introducing incentives for Dash where
users can actually be rewarded when using Dash.  

Dash Evolution is scheduled to be released later this year and has been in development for over 4 years, it will be a major major milestone for Dash

If you do not see people taking about them that much, then you should understand that the team are not doing enough then to promote the project and any project with team that are not active is just like a dead project to me already, I think that you need to look for more active coins to trade like BTC , ETH, BNB, EOS, XLM, and many more coins in the market with great communities that are behind them.

Some of these coins that you mentioned, the only time that you can really get much increase from them is when the altcoins season starts, then because they are still alive, investors may still look at them, because their developers will also tend to want to be more active during that season, so these projects are only good to hold for long term and I would not advise them for short term.

You might want to look into Elixxir too. One of their big competitors that is going to come to the market end of summer/fall

Seems like dash is more promising rather than ETC if you hold it for short term investment. I still remember when it is price at $0.2 if I'm not mistaken in 2014 ago, but Dash coin only need 3 years for the price up almost touch $1600 at 2017 ago, the investor of this coin can be ascertained got a huge profit at that time. And now Dash coin only have $104 based on coinmarketcap, which is mean since an ATH which has been achived its price met a decreasing price a lot. But I think if the cryptocurrency market back to bull run again then $1600 price will be the target for the investor of Dash coin.

I wouldn't bother with ETC. Just stick with ETH. I don't think ETC is going to be any good in the long-term, everyone will just go with ETH instead. I think the only real reason that ETC is a big coin is because it has the ETH name, similar to how BCH still keeps some value. Although at least ETC was a legitimate fork, which is not the case with all of the money-grab BTC forked coins.

Comparing Dash with ETC is completely insane. Dash is one of the most progressive coins I now in terms of development, and it's community is huge.
If you think everything will moon like 2017 again, you will be dissapointed, that's for sure.

There is no doubt that the top 50 coins will do alright long term, but why don't you look into small caps? The risk/reward ratio is way higher, but if you pick a project which is solid, you'll be far better off in terms of ROI long term.

Speaking of Dash, there's a project called Stakenet, which forked from Dash. Do some research on it, and I'm sure you'll be surprised at how incredible it is.

I wouldn't bother with ETC. Just stick with ETH. I don't think ETC is going to be any good in the long-term, everyone will just go with ETH instead. I guess that ETC thinks that they can use the tactics of all these BTC FORKS to also have a name in the market, but they don’t know that it can never be like BTC, and when it comes to Ethereum, Ethereum is still very cheap for people to start thinking of using anything of its fork.

The reason why these other bitcoin fork is quite thriving now is because Bitcoin is quite high in price and sometimes could be high in fees too during congestion, so people would just look for a very similar alternative they can use for the main time, which is why all these BSV, BCH are gaining recognition. I have been hearing of Ethereum classic for months now, and every time their name rings in my heart, it just tell me about another non-serious project that just want to hide under ETHEREUM.

The three coins has done well in 2017 and dash and zcash has not really recover from last year bearish trend! Litecoin on the other hand has done very well this year and it is still going up in pricing. However, if your aim is to invest in some of the coins that are a bit stable then you should invest in dash and zcash. There doesn't always follow the noise in the market.
