could be wrong, but I think the latest model doesn't work with anything except for iOS so take that in consideration before offering.
They do. The big difference is that they don't have that cool integration with Android devices (showing up in the phone right after you open it, not having to manually connect every time, double tapping to skip, ear detection, etc...). I have one and I've used them in Android devices and even my laptop multiple times.

AirBattery app! You need to buy Pro for 0.99$ USD and you get most of the functionality; it shows up on the phone when opened, has battery levels, and supports in ear detection. Double tap to skip is default on devices without Siri and my AirPods automatically connect as well on my Pixel 2 XL (though I don't believe it's a result of getting the app).
Also, you can change the double tap functionality by pairing with a friend who has an iPhone and changing the settings on their phone as the AirPods remember what it was set as.
