DeltaCoin’s main goal was to provide users with the most sleek cryptocurrency yet, allowing faster transactions while maintaining high levels of security and anonymity. Through our careful analysis of block sizes and difficulties over the past six months’ data, we determined the exact levels for each that would allow us to achieve these goals.

Next, we looked at the problems of cryptocurrencies of the past, and looked to fix their issues. We have increased the maximum blocksize so scalability will never be an issue. We have also investigated the questionable signature operations limits of the past, and have made sure that this will never be a problem with DeltaCoin.

At the end of the day, we created the most perfect coin to date, an altcoin that will prove to be the force of continued change in the ever growing world of cryptocurrency. Whereas other coins have no research behind their methods and are simply copies of one another with random numbers thrown in, DeltaCoin has months of rock solid research backing up its exact block size and difficulty.

The block reward has been set at 100,000 coins per block with a block time of 2 minutes. We have chosen these values based on extensive regression using several different advanced techniques, including: Least Absolute Deviations, OLS using Robust Standard Errors, and Generalized Linear Models. After this analysis, it was clear that DeltaCoin would far surpass any other coin currently on the market in terms of security and speed.

There will be a 0.9% premine for developmental and promotional work. These will be budgeted to being released uniformly over the next 2 years, similar to how an IPO does not allow the current owner to sell all of his shares immediately and crash the price. We want this coin to be fair for all, and not ruined by one rogue developer of promoter. With this system, it is certain that DeltaCoin will be a safe investment for years and years to come.
