I'm going to be closing this group buy soon, while we look for another vendor. Existing orders are secure, and anyone who wants to make a last buy is welcome to do so over the next few days, but this fiasco with the chip count has us looking to find a different source.
Why fiasco. Is it not 4 modules and 1 spare slot empty in same case. That makes it possible for user to upgrade with extra module. You get 1.25th from one miner if you have spare psu. You cant do this with original miner because lesser quality components original blades cant be run at 250GH without blowing up. I see this only improvement in design. They made blades better and got 1TH with one blade less. I have original unit of 40 chips, now i want these new units. I see your point. I'm mostly disturbed at the way they handled it. It sounds like they are better units though, so it may be better in the long run. Either way, people are still interested, so we're leaving the buy open.

It sounds like they are better units though, so it may be better in the long run. Either way, people are still interested, so we're leaving the buy open. Coincraft A1 Chip can do 25-40 GH/s first Dragon miners were running with stock speed of this chip. 40 chips 25GH /chip 1000GH. http://bitmine.ch/?page_id=863All this assuming they really improved blades and DC-DC power to handle the 250Gh ~ 31,25GH /chip instead of old model 200Gh ~ 25GH /chip. For sake of them i hope they tested this so they didnt stress it out too much. If so then it's a good improvement that chips are pushed up straigh from the factory and users dont need to "improve" them anymore. Better to have factory tuned units instead of users blowing them up trying to OC eaven more. We will see if these OC blades starts to die in future Older blades were poor in design and underclocked. You should not try to push them 250GH / blade. JointDoctor kindly instructed us lol dont kill your boards. They knew their design cant handle higer clocks or factory would have shipped 1250GH miners with extra +500$ price. Simple. I want more of these units so question about shipping. Are you shipping directly from China - EU or will it go from China - US -> EU. I need to pay the VAT so i prefer shipping from China directly.

I don't mind paying the fees, I'm a bit skeptical processing the card over the phone thou. Online at least I am protected by the gateway and PCI safeguards.. Giving some random guy my card info over the phone, who knows where it will end up. What is the rational behind taking the payment over the phone, it definitely doesn't offer either of us any additional protection rather it exposes me to a lot more risk.

We've found that these transactions go a lot smoother after a phone call... Not just for credit card, but for all orders. Recent hassles with PayPal mean we have to use our merchant services account for cc's, and for that, we'd rather have a conversation first. It's nothing particular to you, but it is something we'll have to insist upon for credit card orders in the future.
