I do like to watch these beauty and Miss world / Miss Universe contests but never think of betting on them.

Not a fan of pageants but even if I am, I ain't betting. There's so much happening backstage that it makes it VERY hard to predict who would win. One round Ms. So And So seems to be a great contender and then just after a swimsuit change or Q&A, she's gone. So much politics and backstabbing (even heard stories of contestants finding their clothes with runs or their shoes missing).

You are right that these beauty contests are not fair and most of them are pre-decided of who will be  the winner. There is lot of politics involved in it and I don't think anyone would like to bet on these competitions.

"Beauty" is very subjective. Even without the intrigue and manipulation, not everyone would be able to agree on the choice of winner. With sports you can rate the athletes based on their performance and be able to make a decent prediction on how the game would go.

Surely everything Will make it happen to win any beauty contest it is very important to have these qualities such as honesty and respect. You can bet for it but make sure you have knowledge about this field and you know all rules and regulation if you have this then you can enjoy a peaceful contest in beauty contest betting.

It rarely happens that there is betting on a beauty contest, as far as I know, I did not hear this that having contest maybe there is one concept of choosing a winner, who will be won the crown and also have won in a beauty contest. However, this is very easy to have to bet on someone else in the beauty contest. Indeed, it is likely no possible.

I tried miss universe betting to my cousin last miss universe and I won bevause my bet was Catriona gray and him was miss south africa the cost is only $10 or 10 bucks it's small but still good and next beauty contest I will bet another and I hope I can predict who gonna personally it's hard ti find who gonna win because of a lot of contestant so that's why we are betting if the candidates are in top 5 .

With that, it's easier to pick when you already seen the talents of each beauty queens who able to get inside the top 5, it's hard to pick from the beginning as the competitions really have to look for factors that will excel each participants from one another, you need to really have a good look from the beauty and talents of whoever candidate you are fully supporting.

I have not tried betting on a beauty contest. I really find it odd, even if we are talking of the Miss Universe. There are simply too many participants to be able to do some good analysis. And besides, we can hardly have enough idea as to the particular standards of beauty the judges have. After all, beauty contests are more subjective than objective. I mean everybody must be pretty and sexy for sure.

By the way, I find it funny how gambling can offer as weird as beauty contest betting. I've just also found out on another thread that there is such a thing as betting on politics. Gambling is pretty surprising.

Lol, exactly my friend.  People tend to like the "endowed",  beautiful and humble girls (for marriage Ofcourse) where I live, and all of a sudden more people began to like the "skinny ones" probably due to exposure to other cultures in real life and tv/virtual world.
I actually like the skinny figure but I sometimes wonder if I got this preference because I was influenced by the world and not the natural preference I was born with?

I bet if most beauty pageants start preferring the "endowed ones" people will begin to like the endowed. It is such a strange world

What metrics do you want to analyze? Face, boobs? It's difficult though since no meaningful stats here as far as I know. I mean the participants were always new right? More like a lottery IMO.

Anyway the best question is which pageant should be the one to bet on!Miss Universe?if does then this will be a fight against each country’s because for sure one will support he’s countrymen (unless their candidate is not that competitor the competition)😅

Fulfilling your gambling desire is one thing, but earning money is entirely another. I hate to say it, but our chances of earning money with betting on a beauty contest are close to zero. We can always win because of big luck though. That's why I said I would bet on a girl I liked, first of to fulfill my gambling desire, and secondly to have a chance of winning. Because, as they say, you will never win a lottery without buying a ticket. But it's still a lottery, don't forget about that. We cannot count on making money with it.

These are completely off for the common people I guess but I had seen many unregulated way of betting on the contenst like these from my locales not on any website and in cryptos but these results were highly manipulated by the ego of biggest companies since we never know how the contests are picked as winner since there is no measure for the beauties externally.

I think common sense will even let us know that this kid of gambling is expected to be manipulated. Beauty contest on its own is always a place of manipulation, where  there are no major criteria to choosing a winners except by connection how much more the gambling. That will definitely be the headquarter of untruthfulness.

Well, I have never seen a gambling place for beauty contest, not even online or offline, I was a bit amazed to have known about this but then I would still not partake if I see one. It even better when it is done in an offline casino house. I really do not understand how the winner would be picked.

Agree, but there are times that you have a bit of clue who’s gonna win because they have updates who’s the crowd favorite they also have Q&A during interviews thus you can see which one has a smart answer so I think it is not that hard to predict whose gonna win. As for sports, I agree it is easier to predict because you can base it on the statistics and also on the performance the team shown on the game so pretty much easy compared to pageants.

Even with the top 5 it is not easy to pick the winner for miss world. They do not only look at the figure and features of the girls. They also see which of those girl is confident and intelligent. The last question answer round is the one which makes the difference because not all good looking girls can speck fluently and confidently.

I agree that there could be some issues of being biased on one contestant. But, this could be a good gambling since the whole world is on their feet for their choice of the Miss Universe or any other pageants.

Not really a 50/50 change game yet we know the no. of participants joining up the contest.Yes, we know the criteria but there are lots of factors that do affect such winning chance. Question and answer question portion answer is one of it, it does mainly affect contestants chances of winning.We wont know if they would got mental block midway and might the reason on such loss no matter how good they are on looks or talents.
