Unable to login Blockchain.info

It has been a long time since I used that wallet, yesterday I tried to log-in, entered the correct ID & password and could not log in.
The same thing happens when using the Blockchain app on Android.
Does anyone have the same problem?

Not sure but I have a bypass trick and for this I would not care much if Blockchain.com (.info) blocked my account. I have the 12 word seed. Using the seed you can easily access your wallet from Electrum. You just need to use BIP39 seed in the process of restoring the wallet.

I have had similar issues in the past and I think I pinned it down to issues on their side. Usually I would wait a day or 2 and then it would be back to normal for me. Maybe just wait a little while and see if the problem resolves itself? The period of inactivity is likely a coincidence.

Edit: https://www.blockchain-status.com/ (Looks like there was a weird dip earlier today, so maybe that has something to do with it?)

I also experienced the same problem before on their app and couldn't access my account after putting the correct pin.

Eventually the problem was fixed, if there's a log in problem it's most likely on their end(sometimes it could also be your connection).

I don't trust their app, it's mostly buggy but I haven't experienced your problem. Did it showed a message to check your email because they are automatically requiring you to verify it through it as 2FA if you haven't logged in for a long time.

I mostly experience it on their app after some update, not using their web app for some time tho, but apparently, I'm not that amazed or concern as it really common for them for having such issue.

Out of curiosity, i just tried to access mine through my phone app and i got some error message... LOL

"Error loading full wallet functionality. Service Might temporarily be unavailable."
Looks like they have a problem. Good thing is i never used it even. I just don't trust wallets that require signing up.

do you by any chance know the version of the wallet you used to create this account? if it is one of the old ones then i had the same issue, i've created my account in 2014. the reason for it is because these wallet files are using an old version and blockchain.info messed up with their backward compatibility. so when you try logging in, it first tries to convert it to the new version and fails so you get stuck and can't get in your account.

It seems that all unverified accounts or accounts do not use for a long time been terminated or disabled.

Look at this legal terms from blockchain below this might be the reason why you can't log in with your account.

4.5 Termination. We may close, terminate, enable or disable any or all of the Services, your User Account or your access to the Services at any time and for any reason.

The terms just changed last July according to google cache.

This is very strange, why there are not so many discussions about this topic? it seems that this wallet is no longer so famous.

Does this include wallet seeds? I do not know but this decision is useless, I have read in another topic that a user was able to recover his account by using 12-word wallet seed.

If not, this wallet claims that seeds are inaccessible. (too many bitcoins will be lost.)
It seems that the indicators have become serious by moving away from Blockchain.info shit wallet.

If the user has backup and full copy of the seed, disabling of his/er blockchain account is useless and can still be access by importing them on compatible wallet such electrum.

Exactly.
People often misunderstood what a wallet really is.

Blockchain.info wallet is just an interface where you can interact with your private keys. Your coins are in the blockchain. If they terminate the service, you can just change the interface, i.e., the wallet.

They have purpose for having these kind of terms and conditions since many of the wallets are unverified even myself because I am not verified my blockchain.com wallet yet since I only used to receive few times and never used it again so if many do the same and lose their account then they have opportunity to steal all the remaining funds right?

This has nothing to do with Id verification.

When you create a blockchain.info wallet you receive your privatekeys, i.e., the 24 words seed.
