Network Minable Coins List

The purpouse of this thread is to add all coins which can be mined
by providing your computer's internet access to network.

The first one I can add is NKN coin - miner can be installed
on almost any device - from an old Android phone to a VPS.

You get reward for relaying messages for their CDS network.

What other similar coins you know of?

Found another very interesting coin project: #Metahash

Combining blockchain, torrent and a very smart staking (forging)
combo + running nodes with different roles makes this
coin very unique. (Or atleast I havent seen something similar).

For new users they are offering 1000 free MHC so you can
start using them to stake and forge your own coins.

Storj Coin. Mining through sharing your hard drive free space.
Currently the payout is x4 times bigger than original to encourage new farmers.
If you have a static, real IP, a spare PC which is online 24/7 anyway (or atleast one core) plus several hundreds GB of free space,
you can share them with anyone who wants to upload content on storj network as in any other cloud.

Keep in mind that to fill up your 1TB HDD you will have to run 1TB of traffic through your
network.

This is not really a coin where all you need is internet. Because if you go on this path, you'll end up adding Bitcoin and Litecoin, because all you need is internet, and an ASIC and some software. I hope that you understand my point.
Also, if you are interested in HDD mining, there's also BURST. I don't know though which of the two (Storj vs Burst) is better/more profitable and so on.

You are correct to some extent. If you forget the several hundred dollars worth of specialized hardware, which can only mine one algo.
