Interesting idea, just to be clearer of your posting. What do you men with "where you will potentially pay me.....?" Do you mean that your payment could be carried out after some fund raised or how? That "potentially" word is still grey I think.

This is definitely not a bad way to market one's self. I think you should be more explanatory though, especially as you say your "github profile doesn't reflect 1% of what I know and what I can do." You can show some other projects that you have done that aren't open source. Your experience in coding is not also revealed in your text; e.g. How long have you been coding? What languages are you most familiar with?

Developer's  credibility lies on how good are his portfolio, can you please show us past projects that you have worked with in the past and the present as well, from there we will have an idea on how good you are as a developer of a project, this is what other developers and managers are doing.

I don't know about the portfolio, but OP has already done 2 threads on this offer and has not shown any valid proof to convince people, which means that OP has no proof to show, if he had proof he would not waste time creating too many threads.
