My reasons:

BTC - The King
ETH - Smart Contracts
XSN - Decentralized dApp Eco-System Powered By Masternodes
LINK - Decentralized Oracles
ARK - Scalable Blockchain Building Platform - Point Click Blockchain.

Been here since early 2016, sadly sold the majority of my ETH too early, and sold off a ton of Ripple late 2016, as it wasn't performing very good against BTC.

Biggest sleeper of all of these is XSN, followed by LINK and ARK.

What do you guys hold?

Did you or trade your btc when it was around 11-12k you must earned a lot if you did that. Well, I am just a small fish in the ocean full of whales wherein I only have few and mostly ICO coins/tokens came from ICO. I am a bounty hunter that is why.
I got INS, XBX and since I am a fan of ETH thats my main crypto.

Most of mine are bitcoin and Ethereum. I've been hearing the news about XSN but still I'm not interested of buying other coins that I haven't fully researched well.

Ark is popular around 2016 up to 2017 but now it had gone through the lower rank although 109 isn't a bad rank.

@OP you've got a nice portfolio and it's highly valued.  Cool

If you have that much money, then I would withdraw some as it can make a real difference in your life - unless you already have a lot of money of course Smiley
Also I would be careful sharing details of how much you have - certainly in a public place.

Nice portfolio though!

To me one need to be careful what one is holding in ones portfolio with the coming of BTC halving which to me is going to tell on most Altcoins.

1. Bitcoin is a must
2. Monero: Still the best privacy coin for me
3. Tezos: waiting to pump and good team behind it,
4. Binance token: As long as the market is bullish, I am bullish on this token
5. Ethereum: The coming 2.0 platform should drive the price up with their coming staking

My own portfolio are mainly Bitcoin with zcash, Monero, Komodo and some token I got from a bounty I participated last year.

OP, does got a nice portfolio with high value but I don't support the part of him screen shot and posting his portfolio cause it can make him a target.

Certainly Bitcoin should be a large chunk of any portfolio.

ETH I personally am not a big fan of. Will have a look at XSN, never heard about it before.

Monero is completely irrelevant to me, as I'm holding Stakenet in my portfolio. Monero only offers private transactions, while Stakenet will offer private trading on their lightning DEX, privacy is a big part of it, but it does so much more. Huge fan of Stakenet, and planning to double my current holdings.

I've been following Ark for a long long time, and it's incredibly undervalued right now. My strategy is to invest half in "safe bets" like BTC/ETH, and the remaining part in undervalued assets with great communities, tech, and a great roadmap.

Do some research on XSN, it's an incredible project!

wew, just heard a guy who didn't like ethereum,,
i think you should learn more about eth buddy, and XSN is a kind of masternode coin with a lot of features inside,,
anyway don't forget about BNB too  Wink
Why always ETH?

Come on, we have some better platform smartcontract than ETH. Example like EOS/Binance Chain, dont always like eth just because you can get a token.

I don't want to boast my portfolio as well but he already did it. Next time, he shouldn't be this aggressive because I'm also concern about him. He can learn from others suggestion and might extract and apply it in the future.

I'm amazed to see on how big his portfolio.

Certainly Bitcoin should be a large chunk of any portfolio.

I don't have XSN too but it's becoming noisier these days because of their staking. And every investors are looking to that kind of source of income and you will have to need at least 15k XSN to run a masternode.

Your portfolio looks yummy yummy and attractive and it is really enticing, I wish you can just will the portfolio to me lol. Sorry I cannot share my portfolio with you because I am afraid that hackers will be after my account and I think you should be careful also. Anyway, I have majority of the coins that you have also and almost all the coins in the top 50 in the coinmarketcap.

I have more of BTC which is really the one that makes up very high percentage of my coin because I was opportune to buy a lot when the price was around $4000 and I am still going to continue to hold till the price of bitcoin reaches $30k because that is where I believe the next bull run will head to. I am still considering holding more coins though but still investigating in which will be best.

I doubt about the real use case of XSN and the only master node coin that worth to buy is dash only. I doubt XNS will give you the best performance compared with another coin with a real use case.
i was holding ark in the past but i have sold it because the idea to create a cross-blockchain platform is not yet even coming to the real implementation after a few years of development progress.
but im not feeling doubt about the rest of your portfolios.
I choose altcoins based on its real use-case. I bought qdao when it was 0.5$ and this time it's worth $40 and CRPT at 0.08 and this time it's also worth 0.3$

That's a good portfolio, similar to mine in the top 1 and 2 because like you, I also believe in BTC and ETH as a great investment.
However my total portfolio is down when comparing from the moment I purchase them to now.

Anyway, we are here to hold and we shall continue to hold until a new sunrise will come for us, as long as it's a solid coin which we believe has a huge potential, holding them would not make us panic even with the price volatility that we are witnessing.

Bitcoin of course should not be missing in my list or anyone.
ETH
LTC
XEM
NPXS converted to fX.

I dont know about those 3 altcoins that you listed but I may be looking at it later on.
I am intrigued also with some of the users answering here. Look like they have been making their own good profits with trading their alts too and not just holding them for a long time.

Mainly BTC, ETH and XRP for me. After that I am spread out across probably too many coins, with an emphasis on smart contracts. I think a lesson I need to learn is to reduce the number of different coins I hold and focus more on the ones I think will be important, rather than trying to hedge my bets by buying a bit of everything.

You can not under estimate the value of Ethereum coin this time because they are still profitable in all alts. Being the second coin in the market means a lot of cryptotraders are patronizing.

My Portofolio are only worth $1.3k, compared to you (whale) i'm just a shrimp. Different than you, the majority of my assets are Altcoins. My Bitcoins is only quarter of my total assets, the rest are all Altcoins. It's spread out into Ripple, Stellar, Tron, Matic Network, and still many more.
