Why would you also wish for bitcoin to keep dropping again when you know that what will even encourage investors to invest more in bitcoin is when they see that the price is already rising, do you think that it is dip that will encourage investors? it was in the past that we feel when the price of bitcoin drops, it will make investors to buy more, but now, the dipper the price goes, the more it scares investors, so what we should be hoping for now Is for some momentum so that investors can be quite encouraged again about investing in bitcoin.

Bitcoin is meant to be rising in value as people get to use it so that the volatility can reduce less, it is when it even becomes more expensive than this that people will buy it less including whales, and will only buy what they need for transaction and not for asset only.

The Price of Bitcoin dipped at $9,625.77 USD but recovered and as I post this price of BTC is now at $10,320 USD. This is not the first time that it happened of course but a taking advantage of such dip is rewarding if you know when to do this. Todays dip is an example, that could have made people an instant 7% profit. Another day was August 30 $9,557.43 USD, after 4 days the price is back at $10,567.11. July 28 price of BTC is at $9,438.72 and it recovered after 5 days $10,487.58

I sold Bitcoin at $ 11,000 and am not going to buy Bitcoin above $ 10,000. Now my positions are in Altcoins. I plan to continue investing in Altcoins.

Well, is that your choice and hope you'll be good with your altcoins.
It is very important to know what could be the best for us either investing Bitcoins or keeping altcoins. All of them are seems to be profitable (depending on our choice of altcoins).
We move a little bit higher in the 2nd quarter and keeps moving until now, but how about in the last quarter of this year? Not pretty right? But we are actually hoping for the best and having $10k-$11k Bitcoin price is quite enough and really a gift for us.

If you're gambling perhaps, but if you understand how TA works and are setting up well placed stops, the risk is very limited. That of course is assuming that there is a market to trade on, which currently sucks big time with how illiquid the market is and stuck in a very tight range. If you look at exchanges such as Bitstamp and Coinbase, there is very little activity as we speak.

It makes more sense to wait for the break and trade that (which can happen at any time now), but I would prefer to wait one or two days afterwards just to see if it is a fake-out or not. Be wary of those.

I also pay attention to the increase and decrease in prices that occur. it's like giving us a profit every month. maybe a price below $ 10,000 is really a gift. some people might continue to buy bitcoin under the price of $ 10,000 and keep collecting it. I also started thinking about collecting bitcoin when the price was under $ 10,000. after that, I might wait for the price of bitcoin to be above $ 11,000.

Under $10k actually good price to bought, but maybe spare some money to prepare if dump come again. Maybe half in this price and half for back up. Altcoin maybe still really need to make some research before invest in it. Especially for new tokens that maybe look very profitable, but inside it, is full of risk that can cause dump.

Under 10k is a gift but even nicer buy is a lower price then that still.   Long term sub 10k could likely be a buy but also within that area is a spike down and thats the latest pricing we're seeing.   The bigger question is how long does the price submerge below 10,000 but I'm quite interested in where is the bottom of the trench for BTC in this weak spot.



We have in theory hit the 8100 bottom there and it matches previous price history but I think we need multiple points of support to really call it a good buy.   I would like to see it go to about 7000 and on this chart 6500 is possible by a lower trend.
  Including previous weeks in the trend up we can see bars matching prices around here, the theory being we can see buyers and orders with interested parties wanting to hold from this price upwards.  Theres always people who previously missed out and did not want to chase or buy at the 13k peak and as it turns out that was a good call medium term so now its possible we do see a kind of value buyer at the prices half of that peak.   Market makes itself attractive until people stop resisting and buy into what they wanted long term and also shorts close out and so on, it all resolves and reverses at that point possibly.  However it takes time to digest and we'll have to see .

Although many are very disappointed because they've expected just the opposite, new price rise with Bakkt launching.

you and others yes but me ? nah i dont really think so  . 10k usd something is still a bit high to me  . i think im going to wait for more declines  but my target buy price is actually at 6kusd and lower .

  im still okay if btc wont drop that low because i can still some of my btc's for some profits   .

 would be it better is someone gift you a btc , i think that is more litteral but saying that btc at 10k is a gift  cant be verry convinving to some especially if they dont have the cash to afford it  .

I'm already expecting all the possibilities as bitcoin has not been stable thus far, it was able to stay at $10K for awhile but failed to break higher resistance so we are seeing btc at this level now.

However, we should not consider this a big dump that would result to bitcoin again experience a long bear movement because I believe it will less likely to happen, there is no negative news now but the price dump that hard, so I think it will also bounce back hard.

Bitcoin reaching low to $10000 has taken place now, but there is more chances for the price to reach $5000. This way I believe it is good to invest at a price low to $10000 for short term trade profiting and if the plan is for long term holding then waiting for a lower price than the present price seems to be the best choice.
