How a Mainstream Messaging App Plans to Preserve Privacy

With David Chaum's cMix protocol using precomputation his latest application Elixxir plans to become the go-to privacy focused messaging application. I think as more people learn about social media companies' involvement in people's data there is no better time than now to have a anonymous communications app come to market.

Does that mean we don't know who the message is to us? in my opinion this is actually more dangerous if we don't know who sent the message, and it will also be difficult to know whether the sender is our friend or not.
I hope there is a clearer explanation about this, because if everything is privacy and clear, maybe it will be a new breakthrough.

We are all waiting for a big messanger thats priority aim is to provide anonymity and privacy to their users and the name of this project is Telegram coin or TON. Such apps are just analogs that won't survive when such a giant enters the market.
