Bitcoin's all time high was on 17 December, 2017 was $19,783.This was Bitcoin’s historic high, a 900% increase in just two quarters. However, it was immediately knocked down by half and stood at $11,000 just 11 days later. Its upward slant has been sturdy throughout the first half of 2019, somewhat imitating the second-half of 2017, which is restoring public confidence. Bitcoin is trading at a robust $10,000 as of now.

Do you think Bitcoin will cross its all time high of $19,783 by the end of 2019?

I dont think we will be experiencing what occured in 2017. The bitcoin bullish and the overpriced bitcoin that ended in correction and made huge losses to many holders. Looking at the charts  it seems that there will be no price surge just like before. The value of bitcoin could only hit as high 15k$ by the end of the year or possibly much lower at 13k$. But the positive thing this year is that there will be no more bitcoin bubble and the bitcoin growth is natural.

I ma confidence bitcoin will cross the 2017 ATH price and even set a new record by 2019 year ending. I can't explain what slain the momentun of bitcoin when it was running like mad. It's truly highly unpredictable.

~snip~

By Coinmarketcap ATH was at $20,089 at December 17 2017, and 2 weeks later price is drop at lowest $12,755. It just show that it was a pump based only on speculation, on which some smart people make big profits. I would not say that 2019 is in any way similar to 2017, and that we should not expect to see anything like 900% or similar increase this year.

Bitcoin is unpredictable, but I would be very surprised to see anything more then $20 000 at the end of this year - except in the case of some big positive thing, but something like that at the moment is not in sight.

It's highly unlikely not possible because of the end of this year is a short time for the price of moving at such a slow pace, I don't really think this is a matter for now because the price needs plenty more time to recuperate from certain lost and resistance in pumping the price, I think that 2022 may be a year that can be very bullish and may aim for another all-time-high I guess let's just say we are not ready yet.

you are looking at this whole thing wrong. you should zoom out and look at the bigger real picture. that picture shows you that price has been rising from around mid 2015. with some short corrections but the overall trend was rise.
then in 2019 the final stage of that ongoing rise happened where price rise got faster. and eventually ended up with what you described which was the final step of the 13000% rise in 3 years which ended with a bubble and the result was a bubble burst and 2018 bear market.

Quote
Its upward slant has been sturdy throughout the first half of 2019, somewhat imitating the second-half of 2017, which is restoring public confidence. Bitcoin is trading at a robust $10,000 as of now.
no it wasn't sturdy, it was shady and full of doubt. just like 2015 when price got out of $150, went up 2x and fell down again to go back up, reach $500, stabalize at $450 for a long time and then continue.
now we're seeing the same. from $3000 to $6k, a drop then some months of sideways and then rise to $13k stabalizing at $10k(ish) and then continue back up.

Quote
Do you think Bitcoin will cross its all time high of $19,783 by the end of 2019?
possibly not.
usually hitting the previous ATH is harder becasue there are a lot of investors that are planning on cashing out in different price levels up until that previous ATH and that slows down the rise a lot.

There is a FOMO brewing...

What is most shocking about all this is seeing the price reach $ 20,000 and months later it drops to $3300... you can't believe something like this could happen. Imagine if a person bought when the price was $ 19000 and then that person travels and months later will see the price and find that the price is at $ 3300? Can you imagine the shock the person will have? I see cryptos as very dangerous investments that need regular monitoring and good strategy.

Do you think Bitcoin will cross its all time high of $19,783 by the end of 2019?

definitely the price will not exceed $19000 this year

Do you think Bitcoin will cross its all time high of $19,783 by the end of 2019?

Past performance will not guarantee future results. Never relied on that as it might give you expectations.

Specifically, what happened in December 2017 can't be an assurance that it should happen in the same month this year. The same prediction was expected last year but the worst thing happened instead as it crashed at the price of $3,000+ level.

Pointing to the price behavior this year, bitcoin really back on track. The increase happened this year is not a product of pure hype.

Establishing another ATH will surely happen. Just don't expect it this year. If happen, then good. Don't set up high expectations. Way better to see $10,000 to $13,000 as price bottom first this year rather than jumping to a new ATH.

Do you think Bitcoin will cross its all time high of $19,783 by the end of 2019?
Short answer:

For short-term (End of 2019): No
For Mid-term (2020-2029): Maybe
For long-term (10 years later): Yes

This is quite a safe assumption but I guess it is possible for Bitcoin to break its ATH this December of 2019.  Institutional funds are coming its way to Bitcoin Industry and we are not talking about small merchants here but rather a huge number of  investors.  With this the possibility of Bitcoin to break its ATH is huge.

One word that has always pop when questions come like this - unpredictable.

It would be hard to see the price hits up to $19k at the end of this year. It won't be the same but I'm speculating that we're likely to see that a year or two. And everything is likely to happen as I've said it is 'unpredictable'.

But to have a realistic call, I don't think we'll see it then for this year. Though it won't be a surprise if we go near or actually hit it.

I appreciate conservative outlooks, but this has gone far past the conservative outlook.   Tongue

Bitcoin likes to repeat its cycles as can be seen in the charts, and while past events don't mean that we will follow the exactly same path in the future, the cycles will closely rhyme.

Bitcoin is still in its infancy where speculation is still the driving demand factor, which means that from cycle to cycle prices will continue to become severely overbought at the top, and severely oversold at the bottom.

I would actually be somewhat worried if the price doesn't manage to break $20k before 2029, especially with how bullish the developments have been and will be. If the price doesn't reflect that something is not right.

BSV is not the real Bcash. Bcash is the real Bcash.

I think new ATH will come, there is big possibility if we see hardfork almost come. Maybe in 2019-2020 it can reach it's new ATH and if no serious or big problem happen, it can increased a lot in that time.

such person should never invested in bitcoin in first place because when someone is waiting 3 years and doesn't buy but then buys at the top of the peak after the price has gone up 12966% it is obvious he is taking an uncalculated risk and is bound to lose money.
the real "shock" is when someone buys bitcoin for the first time at the top of the bubble not when bubble pops and price drops.

I'm not sure the price of bitcoin in 2019 will exceed the highest price in 2017, but maybe for 2020 will break the new highest price it is based on the development of the digital currency industry and some other big news.

Do you think Bitcoin will cross its all time high of $19,783 by the end of 2019?
This year?? The chances of a new all time high is low but I'm not  saying that it will not happen.
At around 1-3 years?? I think there is a 50-50 chance that it will happen.
Long term?? Definitely it will surpass its past all time high.

There's at least a quarter and a month left this 2019. It could still get big enough to reach the $19,000 for a day or less if there's a bull run and there won't be any sudden drops during the bull run.

I think new ATH will come, there is big possibility if we see hardfork almost come. Maybe in 2019-2020 it can reach it's new ATH and if no serious or big problem happen, it can increased a lot in that time.
Hardforks won't contribute much to Bitcoin's price even if there's several of them it won't be enough to pump the price since they don't have a lot of value.

Do you think Bitcoin will cross its all time high of $19,783 by the end of 2019?

No. Why the price increase is slowing down, and at the current rate, we need to double it to be able to hit $19k and I don't think that investors is willing to put more money in the market. Everyone is waiting for the block halving next year.  So I'm not expecting the price to hit $19k at the end of the year, we might be lucky if we hit around $15k, but I have no problem ending the year with that price. So let's see how it goes.
