Proof of Stake blockchain Solana just announced a $20 million round in funding led by some pretty big key investors. Solana is said to be the first web-scale blockchain capable of hosting applications akin to the internet supporting 50k TPS.

Is Solana the next world computer to surpass Ethereum?

I don't wanna say a lot about that but there was a lot of platforms have already claimed they could create a big scalable blockchain with hundred thousand of TPS.
Scale doesn't matter a lot this day if that was not being adopted by a lot of people. Real use case is more preferable but to raise 20 millions by create a marketing gimmick through spread scalable blockchain with 50k TPS and believe me that will be the next centralized blockchain.
