Albocoin is a peer-to-peer crypto currency, as many other coins it is based on Bitcoin open source software and it uses Scrypt hashing algorithm similar to Litecoin. The Albocoin network is available for everyone since March 1, 2014. We invite everyone to use the opportunity  to join our network and start mining Albocoin while the difficulty is low and help us taking it to the next level (making Albocoin a tool for payments online). The initial network is designed to handle the transactions in timely matter and with no delays.

   Block target is 5 minutes
   Difficulty retargeting = blocktime/hashrate x amount of blocks

Perhaps, the coin was premined (Bounties, IPO, Pump and Dump???) but it is listed on http://www.crypto-markets.com/  and  https://c-cex.com/index.html?p=alb-btc.

If its value picks up a little it will be very profitable  because Difficulty right now is very low and  anyone is able to mine  whole blocks  even with a CPU  let alone GPU cards and big mining rigs.

I will give it a shot and see where it goes.

I encourage those  with low has power to mine this one in the early stage while you can.

No it won't. At least not until the value of nTargetSpacing is increased from its current setting of 1 second:

At that setting, the difficulty is permanently capped at the default bnProofOfWorkLimit of 1/12^2, i.e. 0.00024414

Fwiw, AlboCoin is a clone of Dogecoin-1.4, with all that implies.
