your opinion is true if the dex becomes more popular these days, but sadly the volume of dex is decreasing even more and you can see how binance dex's volume is decreasing a lot.

The minimum viable product should be a minimum requirement but DEX has already alive that means the MVP is not needed anymore. In my opinion, if MVP is needed for a new platform that wanna create a new DEX or CEX.

I was a little surprised by the statement about DEX. How is the popularity of these exchanges determined?
The highest rate of evaluation of any exchange is the volume of trading. I want to believe that the volumes on DEXes are growing, but according to the tokens I have, this is not noticeable.
Is there a resource with tracking trading volumes on some DEX exchanges?

You mean more popular in the sense DEXapplications are being developed which is quite true, we have lots of dexes that are coming up in terms of application, but in terms of usage. Dex applications are still not every much used which is why they have very low record in volume. What is the point having lots of dexes even if they are popular, but not having the volume to drive the exchange to its destination.

Most traders still prefer to make use of centralized exchanges and I really don’t know why because dex exchanges are really the ones that represent the purpose of blockchain technology. We still have a long way in making dexes a reality and it all lies in our hands, we are the ones making use of CEX and we should also be the one to make a decision in our heart to use them.

DEXes are not becoming popular. new users come - they understand that this is not very convenient - and then they leave again. popularity will come when everything will be fast and convenient

DEXes are good to have and great to use, as the year goes by, many people will adapt it more.
centralized exchanges are getting in to nerves. lets wait more time and it will be much better.

Yes, Dexes are becoming popular but has a low volume compare to centralized exchanges. I am big fan of Dex, I wish others will adopt and use it, but Dex  needs a lot improvement like the centralized one.

There are many DEX solutions out there, but they are either hard to use, slow, or got close to NO volume.

Dex exchanges solves the hacking problems of centralised exchanges and no KYC required to use dex exchanges either but the problem with dex exchanges is lack of volume.

The popular of Decentralized Exchanges can be attributted and characterized by their ease of use and lack of regulation which are the core characteristics of the blockchain technology, unlike native centralized exchange where users are always kept in checks in with their funds.

To be candid this is not true. I've been expecting DEX that will be able to compete with centralized exchanges but I'm yet to see one. In terms of trading volume and liquidity, user interface, swiftness of operation, the difference is clear with DEX and CEX.  I was regarding IDEX with great esteem but I lost that regard when the news about KYC sprouted. Hopefully, we will still see some decentralized exchanges in future with revamped features. We actually need more advanced DEX in crypto space.

To be honest we are still far far away from the ideal dex platform, personally i feel that we need an advanced, modern and simple to use interface for dexes with efficient transactions, i also want to see atleast one dex in overall top 10 exchanges when this will happen only then dexes will come to the party.

I didn't know it had launched, is KYC required?

I think someday most crypto enthusiasts will only prefer to trade on DEX. But this vision is far fetched because DEXes are not doing up to expectations. There are many lags presently which makes them not to compete well with CEX.

Decentralized Exchanges are becoming popular because they provide higher security to the funds of crypto enthusiasts trading on their platform than what Centralized exchanges like Binance, Bittrex offers. Users are in control of their own private keys hence making it difficult for hackers to have access to the funds of users.

Maybe Decentralized exchange is often to showing accurate trading volumes than centralized exchange.
We know that many centralized exchanges have fake volume, the owner can make the volume without any fee.
But in DEX, you will need fee to doing wash trading to create volumes.
