This is now the new trend, every exchange wants to do ieo no matter how shitty the project is. If you are investing in any ieo, consider it a big risk. If it pays off, fine. If it doesn't, we learn.

That's because almost all people want to get rich quickly by invest in some risky method (investing on ICO, IEO or shit token). I think before the throw their money on ICO or IEO, they should be knew if their money could be get scammed or dropped due to lower price than they bought it

Any exchange is primarily created to earn its creators.
By investing in a new coin or token, you first of all take all the risks of the coin, if it falls in the first place you have to blame yourself for believing the project.
Since now the market is not stable, I advise you to keep away from dubious coins and better invest in projects that have long been on the markets and have shown their liquidity.

Thats true IEO was trending nowadays and because of that many people has easily fall for it, just for a simple reminders if you want to ride with the trend and invest with it choose a trusted exchange because i believe that not all exchange are capable to deliver the promise including profit. think twice if you want to invest in IEO since it has no guaranteed profit in the very end.

Third their exchange and below are not good place to consider when investing in ieo. Even some 2 tier exchange have also done bad. The problem I have with many of them is that they paraded themselves as a good platform with high and active traders but when ieo start to launch in them, we have truly discovered how huge their community group of traders are. Before this ieo of a thing, many of them don't have this function at all but as soon as they discovered ieo is the order of the day, they started implementing launchap to their platform. They just wanna make money off projects.

Same goes for ICOs, same goes for shitcoins as well! Initially we all though that exchanges are doing their own due diligence before listing any project to conduct IEO, but we don't have any solid proof to support the hype! Let me give you a very interesting statistics below,

There are exceptions as well but they are not great in numbers! IEO and ICO both are same, just the channel is different to win back some trust from the mass!

It's not a new trend because basically there was no a lot of differences between ICO and IEO. people have been betting with ICO and after IEO already launched and they are shifting to the IEO as the next way to generate instant profit if they can choose the best one.
It's the same as gambling but that's the continuation of ICO trend but with the cooperation of exchange site directly.

exchanges only take advantage of their popularity to make investors interested and feel safe in every investment, although not always the projects they launch in the IEO will profit to investors. exchanges will continue to be rich, because bookies must always win  Cheesy

I think, exchanges also feel responsible to hold the IEOs of only genuine projects. They must have specific criteria to consider the projects for IEO.
This also will increase confidence of users of these exchanges.

haha all the ways to attract investors to join in, the new exchange to do the IEO is not selective, it will make people become losers.

It really look like that it been a trend to come up with IEO .I think the exchange should me more watchful to the project if the project is good enough to start IEO .I think the process is good and more secured than ICOS but exchange need to research the project and than add on the exchange .

You should observe first the exchanges that launch IEO because IEO does not mean automatic profit, it is still very risky. There are several big exchanges that are successful on this area and their similarities is they all have large volume. While those IEO that rekt people are from small and new exchanges. Binance is still the top giving a huge roi but their lottery system is what makes it hard to get that sweet returns.

actually some still care but what I know is only a few and maybe you already know the intended exchange. but of course it is indeed a trend like a virus because this trend is now being used by several exchanges which can be said to have low market capitals who try to make a place ieo but they mostly do not check (due diligence) for example like probit, p2pb2b, latoken, yobit, coineal, bw

What can we say humans are a greedy being even though there is an exchange that has IEO they will tend to invest with it and has risk involved within it and people tend to be very dependent on earning a fast income within this IEO I should say out your trust on exchange sites that are very well known and that establish itself that it is a trustworthy site, And my list is

* Binance - Is the most well known and establish its service 21st of July 2017, We can surely say this is for the win if you had Hodl Binance coins back then.

* KuCoin - is a hassle-free and like Binance it surely soars fast and become well known to the public.

* BitMex - had an issue once but I guess it is still well known and had many users up to date.

* Poloniex - Is the first exchange that I have already used since 2018, I guess it UI is pretty easy to use and the interface is very friendly.

All IEOs except Binance are very risky. Even in an IEO that Bittrex did, there was a huge loss of value. Be careful all the time.

Its the same thing with ICO. You may look at it like they didn't scam because you are buying the tokens thru IEO on exchanges but the team can still dump what they have. I did participate in the BTT but have sold the tokens I got two months ago. I lost, learned my lesson but it ain't going to stop me form investing if the project is worth.

Definitely, investing in either ICO or IEO has its own risks no matter the exchange platform hosting it... Big exchange platforms hosting IEOs do not gurantee that the project will be very successful. Most exchange platforms are just interested in making money so they do not mind hosting an IEO for a shitty crypto project... Investors just need to be very careful in the kind of IEOs they invest in....

IEO is becoming a priority for the development of various projects. Roughly speaking, is the heir of the ICO. Almost the same troubles can occur with your investments as during the ICO, only in different variations. But the result is the same, you can be left without money at all or lose a significant amount of them.

IEOs generally are better than ICOs in all ramifications, but the way people rely on exchanges and donor bother doing due diligence before investing in IEO is astonishing. Also, we all should understand that not all exchanges do well with IEO, do not just jump into an IEO hosted on a new exchange with low reputation and expect it to boom. Let's be careful when we take calculated risks like that.
