if you know what halving is all about you should know that litecoin will surely increase in value but im not sure if the value increase will be for short term or long term,thats something we all have to wait for and see how things play out.

Halving already shows its impacts on Litecoin price, in both LTC/BTC and LTC/USDT pairs. Now, let's take a look at two charts below.
     
You can easily see the facts that:
- In LTC/USDT pair: Litecoin rose from around $25 to about $140, then fell back and stood at $97 for today. I don't think it is a small increase from Litecoin.
- Next, in LTC/BTC paird: Litecoin rose from around 0.005 BTC to nearly 0.019 BTC, before decreased and stood at 0.0097 BTC, for now. Once again, I don't call it is small increase from its bottom.

More miners will be going out, average tx fees increase, send litecoin takes more time to be validated or confirmed by the block and less litecoin will be distributed in the market.
This cycle will lead to the people think about to buy more and more litecoin consider only a few days before halving the time.
the last halving of litecoin had brought the price of litecoin goes more than a hundred percents and it was going to drop again but it was creating another high bottom value. A similar pattern will happen again.

increases or decreases that's up to the market to judge. There's plenty of coins out there that had halvening but still being dumped anyway. However this halving will create some kind of thoughts on so many people that Litecoin will become scarce due to the decreasing of block rewards.
But still, that doesn't necessarily guarantee the increase of price. If the coin has no demand then the halvening is as good as nothing.

I think Litecoin will no longer increase strongly in the coming days. Because of the price hike because halving only happened 2 months ago and at the close of the event, the price will be reduced because many investors sell off to make a profit.
Therefore, we should wait and not buy more litecoin now.

I think we have all seen the halving impact happen ALREADY,,, especially when we see how price moved so far up beyond $100,,, for me it is very difficult in the current market to see it growing even more just because of halving that happened AFTER people expected.

But like others say,,, it usually goes several times up a few months after halving, so maybe we see another ATH but ONLY if BTC also moves up aggressively.

Over-optimistic and over-expected on Litecoin halving on its price might cause unexpected loss if Litecoin won't rocket, that I believe it will.  Halving should help price increase two times, but what we saw is Litecoin already increased its price nearly four times from its bottom (or around five times at its recent peak, weeks ago).

According to BTC prices, after each halving event (2012, 2016), then 1 year later, the price of BTC will increase very strong. So I think the price of LTC will grow in 2020 after the upcoming halving event this month.

If you have used Litecoin if recent, you will notice that the transaction fee is already getting high, which means that there are lots of people performing transactions in Litecoin market already, and it was not like this prior to the halving. So, I believe that this is as a result of the fast approaching Litecoin halving and I also believe that this will surely have very positive impact on the value of Litecoin for the main time.

I am quite afraid that Litecoin is heading for a major dumping that is possibly going to make the value even drop lower than this after the halving because many people will be taking their reward and also exchanging their Litecoin into fiat to take the profit that came with the halving, so the increase will not be so long before it has it negative side too.

If halving, the price surely will increase because half reward and people dont want to sell low, but this is need time untill the price becomes so high, maybe over 5 months just my prediction. because in the market still so many people sell their litecoin will low price

The price of litecoin will increase but you shouldn't expect much increase in the price of the coin because most all altcoin supporter now focus on bitcoin and majority of crypto traders/investors are yet to totally trust much in the coin ever since till creator dumped all his holding.

Buy the rumours and sell the news 
After halving the prices will go back if any news pre-pump price movement stimulates the news traders.  The impact will surely be positive but it will not live long from my experience. In my scenario, the price of Litecoin can increase by more than 10% in an hour.
