If user interest is shown, I can update this topic with more precise details and comparisons
What's the need for an update or further comparison, it's a well known fact, bitcointalk is the world's largest cryptocurrency forum and none other compares to it.

What's the need for an update or further comparison, it's a well known fact, bitcointalk is the world's largest cryptocurrency forum and none other compares to it. Statistic is not stable and it is always changing. That would be exact numbers shown, statistic per month, active users... Some people just love stats https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=stats

You can see clearly Bitcointalk forum total dominance of 94% for total number of users [/size] A large number of Bitcointalk "users" are just abandoned Brand-New Accounts (where they have to pay to get their Account unlocked because they registered from an evil IP) and even most Newbie accounts are only used for shill posts or paid bumping. So, the number of real users is much lower but Bitcointalk is most likely still the far biggest forum, not only because it's existing since the beginning and the original but also because the most interesting content is published here. And as far as I've seen the other forums are just like the entire Altcoin Section here on Bitcointalk, flooded by shitcoin spam et al. Here are some interesting stats, out of 2 Million Bitcointalk users 1,400,000 users are Brand-New (never made a post) and 400,000 are Newbies (most likely only used for paid bumping etc.). Out of 2 Million users only 140,000 users are Jr. Member or above: 2 MILLION users and their STATS Since PIE charts are the most common and one of the most intuitive charts to read, here are the distribution of bitcointalk ID's from 1 to 2'000'000 .

I haven't even bothered to look at the number of users at the other two forums, but your post numbers/percentages are wrong, cryptocurrencytalk has 459479 posts which is less than 1% of bitcointalk's figure. Forum.bitcoin.com is even less active than that. They're barely active compared to bitcointalk and not being cared after, from a quick glance even blatant spam isn't being removed.

This just means that the forum has more users than the others, and is not necessarily a measurement of quality. Quantity is not quality my friend.

Yes, I know that thank you for enlightenment < ... >
Where did you get those stats? I did not see stat source in OP. I took snapshot at exact time of all 3 forums, and as I did not want to advertise other forums I simply posted respective names on images. Since PIE charts are the most common and one of the most intuitive charts to read, here are the distribution of bitcointalk ID's from 1 to 2'000'000 . Cool! Thanks for showing this. That is why I wanted to add graphs for active users, as I dont know if other forums have ranking system. Update: - Added 'Users Online'PS I was also wondering: - Where do ex-bitcointalk banned users go after ban? - Is there bitcointalk heaven , hell and resurrection ??

<...> Added 'Users Online' <...>
I was just focusing on the number of Bitcointalk “active” users, and you make it 611 (presumably K) profiles. That number alone is near the sum of all non-newbie profiles, and many of those are not active at all, nor have been for years. Since active is not a universal term (you could consider active in the last 3 months, six months, a year and so on), there should be a definition of what is being considered as “active”, making sure it is the same definition across all three compared platforms to make the comparison feasible.Edit: Just seen that I misread online users for active users. The three sites show an online user count in their stats, which is what is being compared (and not an active user count which is what I was ranting about). I was also wondering: - Where do ex-bitcointalk banned users go after ban? <...> Either they quit for good, or they resurrect on the third day and start from scratch, probably wasting their time as they may be caught for ban evasion.

Sure, I will update if I find statistic like that on alternative forums. PS I think that resurrection is 100% certain fact, as there is Unban option in Bitcointalk forum

Cool and all, but bots can manipulate all that data, just like some altcoins devs trading volume of their own coin in between wallets to make the transactions numbers look higher than it really is, or the transaction volume. Exchanges do this to, a lot, it is like the viewbotting of crypto.
pointless data, just like number of views on twitch or youtube, or retweets or likes on tweets etc. All pointless, but it is a monkey do monkey see life.

True, but can we really get 100% exact data for anything in this world? I don't think so, as we know that tampering exists as long as data itself. People always find a way to alter information.

Also remember when it comes to the number of users. Bitcointalk allows people to have alts which am not sure those other forums allow. But in general bitcointalk is miles ahead. In terms of organization, scam and spam bursting etc. Those other forums are not even close.
I tried checking out a couple of them sometime back as a guest but i realized that in bitcointalk it's much easier to discuss a topic in the shortest time possible especially for someone who need help. You don't have to wait for days or weeks to get the first response.

Nice stats, I was not expecting this forum is that more popular than the other forums, it is like this forum is the BTC and the other forum are altcoins due to it's very high dominant rate.

Yeah exactly. EVen if statistic is not 100% correct, and if we exclude newbie accounts it still looks amazing, if we know that same thing is happening in alternative inferior forums

Interesting stats. Number of total users probably doesn't shows how big and active forum is. Bitcointalk have 94% dominace against 2 other compared forums, but as we know, Bitcointalk have insane number of Brand New users who haven't made even single post. In other forums number of such users isn't big probably. It would be interesting to see how these % would change after excluding Brand New users. Number of total post is most intereting and as we see, Bitcointalk don't have such huge dominance there. So, considering not big number of total users, we can say that other 2 forums are very active.

Thanks for feedback. We have very detailed stats here in Bitcointalk forum, and I would love to make more precise comparisons, but I am not sure this kind of stats can be find on that alternative forums ... https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=statsOr maybe I just need to dig a bit deeper

This forum is the best place to be when it comes to the latest updates about Cryptocurrency, everything is all here and starts here, I wonder what will the Bitcoin community, without Bitcointalk, I hope it stays this way open, liberal and decentralized.

I've never even heard of cryptocurrencytalk before.
On checking it it looks dead. The last thread on the first BTC page was last posted in on June 25th.
Bitco.in is more lively with a few refugees from here but still far too slow moving for my liking and it looks like it's attracting unmodded spam posts. Their wall observer is even more chartbuddy heavy than the darkest days of 2015 on here. From July 13th - 25th it's literally nothing but chartbuddy.
I assume bitcoin.com is filled with BCH sniping so have never bothered going there.
