Are you basing your opinion on the price of altcoins? If so, then almost all projects whose price dumped are scams.
You should atleast have something more than that before you can say a project is a scam.

The fact that a coin dumped doesn't mean it's scam, get your facts right.  HOT, DENT, NPXS you mentioned are very solid projects with wonderful products already in use to an extent. I remember paying for browsing data with DENT app so why call them scam? I think now is even the time to accumulate some of those coins at dip, there might come a time when you won't be able to chase the uptrend.  Let's stop the FUD already.

it is very basic in cryptocurrency because there is nobody backing it. We can say it is scam after the team runs away with their money, but in here. They do not.

They are all not scam but they are all failed to deliver a good product that gives new hope to the investors and that's why investors are dumping it right now consider the investors have not yet seen real value from the product created by those platforms.
Those platforms are full of gimmick only and no more. their product doesn't deserve the real value because it can't even give benefit to the investors.

Why don't you just look on the blockchain for big movements of this wallet. All you need really is the devs wallet. Then you can see how much they have potentially sold. The price if the token or coin is not fully in the devs hands. The Devs can bring the horse to the water but the horse must drink on its own.

What if you run a project and it the price didn't do so well and people said your coin was a scam since the price dropped? What if the project is legit and you believe in it? I would only say scam if the Devs just run away or lose interest or if the devs wallet has large movement in it.

If a coin is cheap then why not invest? Why must the price going down be a bad thing right away?? Maybe other people are yet to discover the project and others who dont understand it are dumping and will shoot themelves in the foot. What about the people who sold their bitcoin as like $12??? There are many reasons. Don't be so quick to call scam. Think about how you would feel.

There are two coins with the ticker HOT, you should be specific if you think it is you should post your evidence and proof that they are indeed dumping their share and they are scamming people, the price drop has so many reasons, one of these is whales dumping their shares, they still have a good volume, if you are not comfortable with this coin anymore, you can sell it.

I have all of them in my portfolio and I can tell you they are not scam.
They are dump because the market is of altcoins are not bullish yet, and I can say that's pretty normal in the crypto space.

Just look at ETH, after it reached $1300 as its ATH, it was down to as low as $86 before it started to recover, and ETH is not scam.

It only take time, just hold and wait, that's how games are played here.

Also, it has a decent volume and traded in different market such as Binance.

This kind of advice/rhetorical question could be misleading sometimes. Just because it's cheap doesn't mean you should buy it. There are tons of dead coins out there with a price in between 1-100 sats. Should you buy it? No.

Holo is overhyped. Being shilled in many groups but their token utility is not yet ready. To put it simply, that's the bubble. Especially after BTC start moving and destroying every alts out there.

OP scenario is possible but doesn't mean that's what happened. Find the dev wallet as mentioned above, and see their tokens movements. That's the only way to see it. And remember, every project has a vesting schedule, so it's normal if at one time or another they'll start moving their tokens and sell it.

HOLO (HOT) is one of the altcoin that is in the top 47 in the Coin Market Cap. Do you accuse this altcoin only based on the dropped price? Are you kidding me?
This is a trusted coin, it has around $3,307,795 trading volume and 133,214,575,156 HOT of the circulating supply. It is also great enough to be in the top 47. The dropped price of altcoins is something normal and sometimes it can drop to more than 5%. That is why we must not accuse such a coin to be a scam if only based on the dropped price.
