Hello all,

Could someone recommend me a reliable card service providing:

- Plastic and virtual Visa/Mastercards
- EUR cards
- Rechargable through Bitcoin
- Based in a jurisdiction with good privacy laws and card owners not centralised in a registry by the government
- If at all possible permitting no name on the card or a pseudo-name (I do not like the smallest shop where I pay to know my full name. I have often seen it printed on the receipts as it is read automatically from the card chip.)
- Reliable

Verification with the provider and providing my ID to them is not an issue for me.

Thanks!

Sounds a bit like a unicorn to me.

Nowhere will have all of that on offer, especially the jurisdictional, unregistered and no name bit.

There aren't many legit card options any more. For EUR there's Wirex and Coinbase in a handful of countries. There's Bitwala but I know nothing about that.

https://cryptopay.me/bitcoin-debit-card/ do a virtual card but I've never used it and it's only for Russians.

Loads of people will recommend other cards but almost all of them are dead and they haven't bothered to update that info.

If all of your stipulations are vital you'd be better of selling your BTC on an exchange and funding whatever non Bitcoin card gets closest with EUR.

The best options are probably Wirex If you're from UK/EU or Coinbase If you're from the U.S. Alternatively, you can check this list. It didn't get updated since March so maybe some of the "coming soon" cards are already functional and you have a wider set of options to choose from.

Thank you for your replies, I will give Wirex a look.

Yes exactly, I did some research and the reason for this topic is that I found most sites to be either scams or inaccurate. However with proper KYC verification in place there should be nothing illegal about offering a card that is topped with BTC directly.

Regarding selling them and getting a card that is loaded in EUR, do you have any recommendations there? Do you think it could be an option to have the exchange transfer the money straight into the card without passing through personal bank accounts?

There'll be tons and tons of prepaid non Bitcoin cards, and tons of reviews. The last one I used was Entropay which worked well that I topped up with a debit card but I think it's closed down now.

I doubt any exchange would let you transfer to a bank account that doesn't have your name attached to it.

I once remember someone recommending me to use Advcash visa card/master card. I did try using their virtual visa card but they would accept those cards on some online stores (most of them worked) over here due do region (billing maybe) issue I guess. They were probably provided by Russian banks. I tried getting their plastic card but they probably stopped providing visa cards and by delivery was postponed. They said that they will come back soon. Received an email from them like after a year telling me that they will soon provide cards again. Currently using coinbase card and it works good.

Just when you think AdvCash is dead... it seems they launched their EU card beta testing this summer.

talking about Advcash, I saw it on their thread:

Hey everyone.

The Russian card program just went live! Now all ADV users in Russia can order new and replacement cards.

Log into your ADV account to check out the news and place your order, if you're in Russia.

Also, don't miss out on our new great feature, fast crypto purchases. Now you can use any card you funded your ADV account with earlier to make a fast crypto purchase and get BTC, ETH, XRP, LTC, ZEC, BCH right to your crypto wallet.

Not only it's a direct deposit to your crypto wallet, but the exchange rate is also better compared to funding your ADV account and making a withdrawal!

The feature is easy to find in the Deposit Funds section of your account.

Check out all these features in your ADV account and let us know what you think!

The EU card program is coming very soon, and international cards in USD/EUR as well.

Stay tuned!

What RU bank issued the card?

BIN ?

Do you know that bitcoins are prohibited in Russia?

Sites with bitcoin and exchanges are blocked by ISPs.

advcash site is likely to be blocked by http://rkn.gov.ru soon
for access you will need to use a VPN or proxy

All banks in Russia disclose banking information to Putin’s government.

And to send bitcoins to these cards is just stupid because you can be in prison.

now see this:

Official: Russia to Postpone Adoption of Bill on Digital Currencies

There is a good chance that they will prohibit cryptos or cryptos from being used only by a small group of people authorized by the Russian government. and now think:

How did Advcash not think it is dangerous to deal with Crypto in Russia?

I think you should use Advcash with caution

@Slow death
Whatever, Advcash and this (beta) card for EU: they will have a hard time to come back on track, considering Wirex and Bitwala are now established and the giant Coinbase jumped on the train.

It doesn't exist anymore, especially in Europe. Don't forget about AEOI, (in which there are maybe over 50 countries by now participating in). They won't know what you're doing with, but they will know what do you have and where (and other things).
And for people who think they're safe, don't forget governments are 'bipolar' and can decide to join the club at any time in the future.

They're not cheap to use and they seem flaky when it comes to getting banking involved but the cost is similar to Coinbase and there aren't many other games in town. I've never had a problem with the actual card itself. Exchanging to load the card craps out fairly regularly. If the Xapo or Bitpay card was still going I'd be using them instead.

Thanks for sharing this list. It is very useful and all basic information inside. I thought it is not possible to get card for me but now I see that I can even choose )
