Ethereum is the best partner of bitcoin, during 2017 ethereum prices were around 5% of the price of bitcoin. when the bitcoin price is $ 5600 then the ethereum price is $ 280
But why since 2018 until now when bitcoin has reached $ 11 707, ethereum is still $ 227. The ethereum price should be $ 585.
What happened Huh if bitcoin price is $ 20 000 then ethereum price is only $ 600 Roll Eyes
Simply because many people know the existence of bitcoin that's why the demand keep increasing while ethereum still recovering from the latest downwards but hold on tight for sure it will become profitable maybe not this year but in news prediction said 2020 is the real deal.

We can't guess why eth price movements are getting weaker now compared to the relatively very stable  of bitcoin prices in the last few months, basically bitcoin has an influence on altcoin price movements in the market, but of course it doesn't really have a significant effect in my opinion, the decline in altcoin prices especially eth at this time is caused by demand and supply factors, the more buying demand that occurs will certainly make eth prices continue to rise, and vice versa if many sell eth, we can be sure prices will drop dramatically for example in 2017 where world investors began to make bitcoin as their priority in investing, so at that time investors started buying bitcoin in large quantities, and this automatically made bitcoin prices higher and in 2018 many investors began to sell their bitcoins because they were influenced by negative news that circulating the ban bitcoin circulates in several countries, and this automatically makes the price of Bitcoin and altcoin go down quickly.
In 2018 the price of 1 bitcoin (BTC) is equivalent to 6,610.10 US dollars. This figure is down 49.87% compared to the end of 2017 amounted to 13,187.60 US dollars. At that time, the price of ethereum dropped 70,92% from $722.41 / 1 ETH to $210.07 / 1 ETH.

possible market correction, usually if a coin has experienced a high price increase it will certainly experience a price decline below. this is the nature of crypto, so keep calm let alone ethereum altcoin top, I'm sure they still have a chance to return to the highest price again.

I can't verify this 5 percent price ratio to BITCOIN unless someone resourceful verifies this but if this is true, it might have to do with fewer coins we had at that time as compared to the thousand of coins we have today that bitcoin trades with and has diluted it's value.
Possibly the number of Ethereum tokens could also be the reason for the fall of its crypto command in terms of power or simply because we have better coins on the market that has cut though Eth.
AFAIK the number of

on the other hand that is currently rife is IEO, which reduces ethereum demand. different during the ICO period, where most projects require ETH. but with the innovation that will occur in early 2020, I think ethereum will be able to revive. but I'm sure there are still many who are interested and believe in ETH until now

The effect of IEO on ETH is not too much, because projects that use IEO to raise funds, they also use the ETH platform in their tokens, meaning that ETH is still trusted by most crypto lovers, both falling prices and rising prices.

Ethereum is currently doing their carport deal or having their token haggled to individuals.
This isn't an ideal opportunity to gripe. this is an ideal opportunity to assemble and purchase more tokens.
We can have a wise venture on what's going on now.

This shows that altcoins are more risky investment with possible high returns. But you knew that before you invested in altcoins, didn't you?
What does it mean? Again, if you invest now, you can get higher return, but also you can loose more than if you invested in Bitcoin.

we understand in price movements We can see firsthand that Bitcoin is king and Ethereum is the representative, Ethereum only has scalabillity issues. Many developers want to make dapps on Ethereum but they are encouraged to pay higher fees for slower transactions, so they migrate to other platforms.

Bitcoin has about 56% of crypto market now but it doesn't mean the other coin won't skyrocket like bitcoin. Let's just fold our hands and watch what happens next if we enter the bullrun season. By then we'll know how useful altcoin tokens will be

what happened can be explained briefly and concisely. the ICO hype that 95% of the
participants had invested via the ETH detour is over. this led to the huge volume and the price increase. Wink

The Ether prices have once again breached the crucial support levels. A few minutes back, the 0.02 BTC level was breached and as of now the exchange rate is hovering at around 0.01996 - 0.01997 BTC per coin. This is going to be a huge dampener for the altcoin fans. When ETH suddenly spiked 30% (against BTC) during the last two weeks, I had warned that it was not going to last. And now my prediction came true.

ETH may undergo temporary spikes, which may energize its users. But unless there is a solid improvement in the basics, the prices are not going to recover completely. First of all, ETH needs a resurgence in the ICO market. Unless Ether is widely used as a smart contract platform, its exchange rate is not going to rise. And secondly, they should resolve the issue of high transaction fee. This might be difficult to believe for the experienced users, but a few days back the daily transaction fee of the Ethereum network surpassed that of Bitcoin!!!

every crypto currency goes through accumulation advancement and distribution phase, right now eth and other altcoins are being accumulated as bitcoin dominance is very high, when bags and demand is more than supply prices would moon again. there is no fixed ratio in which btc and eth price should be.

Ethreum is with some problems in the market now and as what i am always tell.
This down is due to the demand from the people, there is not much demand to it.
Another one, BTC fell and it affects Ethereum also, i hope this will go high again.,
