I would like to know if a level 3 flag is acceptable based upon his trust abuse possibly costing me clients? Once again he has went on an abuse streak against 20+ users who disagree with his mob mentality type business practices.

At the very least he needs a 30 day ban along with a big red tag IMO to show him that trust abuse will not be tolerated, also to show him retaliatory feedbacks will not be tolerated. I have yet to tag him as I don't wanna sink to his level. I see others have and that's on them. I also know his feedback in reality means 0 to most users on this forum, but there may be a company looking for a manager in the future and be swayed by his feedbacks.

Have a look at all his feedbacks and you'll see I am not the only person who is affected by these feedbacks.

His recent feedbacks claiming users are mentally ill blah blah

His recent feedbacks for promoting what he claims is an illegal site.

His feedbacks directly at me and have potential to cost me money.

Like stated above I know his feedbacks are bullshit and really don't matter but since the system is in place I would like to know if I have a case to use the system in my favor vs this internet bully.

Neither level 2 or level 3 flags are valid. See the text:

There was no contract made between you and game-protect (implied or written), so you do not meet the requirements required to open a higher tier flag.

At the very least he needs a 30 day ban...
Banning him would be the best option, besides a Red Tag won't cause anymore effects on him, he already prove that this tags are useless and therefore abuse it with his own ideals. At the very least, there are already 2 flags on the account, and I think its already enough for he wouldn't mind at all even though how many flags were created for his wrong deeds. The users is mentally crazy and as far as I can see, he doesn't care anymore what happens on his account, he's just another troll lurking around.

There was no contract made between you and game-protect (implied or written), so you do not meet the requirements required to open a higher tier flag.
Even if he meet the requirements flags on these account will be useless anyway, game-protect has already abandon his manners, also, flags that were created recently are enough to warn users.

Bans do need rule violation, seriously and repeatedly to be activated. I don't think it is case of him. As I know, there is no case banned due to trolling, trust/flag abusements.

AFAIK, CH almost had it when he's still using his main account just because of trolling... If these users stay with their habits the system will end up getting trashed.

Making this topic and making a flag is probably what he wants. Don't feed the trolls!

I doubt he's lost you any earnings and provably won't do since he's not dt and it's a random trust. He also didn't state he lost any money or anything with you directly in the trust.

I kind of disagree with you here. Upon making an account on the forum you are binding yourself to the forums rules correct? FORUM RULES If you look at rule #3 it clearly states he is violating the NO TROLLING rule. When he agrees to use this forum and abide by its rules, he is sort of making a contract with every user and agreeing he will not violate it. Sounds like a solid argument  Grin

Emphasis on "sort of"; this is definitely not a written contract which is required for a level 3 flag. You could argue the level 2 flag I suppose but there's also the argument that given they have not been banned, they have not violated the forum rules.

He was temp-banned for a week or two so there's that. Still I wouldn't support a Type 2 flag - slippery slope.

It would be deemed a misuse of the system to create either #2 or #3 flag, there is no scam that has taken place, a loose social contract doesn't apply to this case, and the damages are not certain. A negative feedback is all you can leave them in this case, as I believe they already have the newbie warning flag. If nothing else try to educate potential clients on what trusted and untrusted feedback is. If they can't sort it out and a comment in your untrusted feedback affects your business there isn't much that can be done.
I can only think of one instance where theymos adjusted someones feedback and that was for a wall of text in sandy-is-fine's feedback, there may be a case to have Game-protects fedback priveleges revoked. They would likely be permabanned though before that if they continue to act the same after this temp ban.

Based on my experience you can open and claim whatever you like and it does not need to have any connection to the reality!

Example 1)

Quote
yahoo62278 alleges: Due largely to the factors mentioned in this topic, I believe that anyone dealing with game-protect is at a high risk of losing money, and guests would be well-advised to avoid doing so. This determination is based on concrete red flags which any knowledgeable & reasonable forum user should agree with, and it is not based on the user's opinions.

Game Protect is since 3,5 years active with over 500 scam reports received and no one dealing with us lost money!

Example 2)

The below listed extremely mentally ill bitcointalk accounts give feedbacks about Game Protect, even though they never dealed with us and do not have any experience!

Those trust feedback means nothing and I don't see how it'll cost you clients beside you have enough positive trust to convince any client wanting to work with you. The user @game-protect hasn't violated any written contract as others have suggested so flagging him would just be an emotional retaliation which can be considered a trust abuse.

You're not his only victim, am also a victim of his random jokes (trust feedback) we just have to ignore him and move on since his feedback doesn't and would never count. If they want the attention, don't give it to them.

I'm not really worried about him costing me anything. Just want to justify tagging him for his behavior since the moderators/admins are only selectively enforcing rules.

Least that's how it looks. Maybe noone has brought his actions to their attention as well. He's definitely abusing the system and needs taught a lesson.

[complains about selective enforcement of rules as you make lame attempts to justify punitive selective enforcement of the rules because your ends justify the means]

Rules are either for everyone or they are for no one. I know you think you are clever and trying to get one over on this turd, but the result would not effect him in any way, and the integrity of the trust system would be degraded as a result. The end does not justify the means.

Are you just always an asshole? I don't think I ever see you post anything but pessimistic bs about everything and everyone.

Just to people who put their own compulsions over the integrity and function of the entire community.

I'm not putting my own anything over the integrity of the community. This guy is harassing multiple users, not just me. He is also violating forum rules in doing so. Technically he could cost a user or 2 money. Doubtful he would cost me anything, but i'm willing to speak up against his internet bullying.

Don't be mad just because I removed a trust rating on you. You are a smooth trader at least in our deal and I prob should've left the ratings. I think you are a dick towards people here and sometimes you are right, but you could be a little calmer about how you speak to individuals.

I would have made my comments regardless of your actions regarding the trust ratings, however I must say it pretty much removes any motivation I have to make any attempts at treading lightly with you considering it proves how easily upset and how little self control you have. I don't owe you a soft beating around the bush, especially after that treatment. I am absolutely a dick, but I am a dick with logic and principals.

Even if you got what you wanted, it would have zero effect on game-protect, and it would simultaneously degrade the value and meaning of this flag in the future by confusing it with compulsive and punitive bullshit such as your excuse for flagging here. Stop pretending this is for the community because it would do nothing to help them, but it would help you sooth your compulsion to lash out at those that cross you. This is for you and only you. Give it up.

The point had already been made that a flag on him would do nothing. Thanks for your opinions, this thread will be locked now.
