I hope they will do something about the price because ever since the announcement eGLD token the price is in decline haven't sold my bag yet but getting a bit worried over here lol. BTW what's the sentiment around eGLD? Is the community for eGLD or against it?

Well if you ask me, I think this is normal. Not because of the announcement but because the price went straight up and is normal to bounce back a little bit.
As for the eGLD I can't give you an opinion since I didn't watched the project in depth, I only have a small bag of coins. Is there a link about eGLD token, to give a look? Thanks!

Elrond is swapping their old tokens to new eGLD coins so 1000 ERD will become 1 eGLD token. So, in short eGLD will soon become the new Elrond token but with lesser supply.

Some really great developments in ELROND and look forward to staking EGLD and growing with the ecosystem at large. I am looking forward to also the good DeFi coming to ELROND as well which will also help it grow over time as more and more people see the value in this as opposed to sitting on FIAT in the banks losing value every year because of quantitative easing and inflation issues. ERD is also very fast and cheaper than ETH GAS so I hope it makes some good inroads to the collect some good market share in the coming months.

Elrond already changed the life style of so many people who bought this at the bottom and now enjoying the smooth ride there. I already converted my token into eGLD but the title of the thread need to be updated to the new one. This project still have big potential to move in upward direction like they have wonderful direction to make this more useful in future.

Man elrong didnt change anybodys lives. Its offices have been raided. In china. First time hearing? Maybe, in the event in which It would not have been raided (hypothetically), Elrond could vie for ZILLIQUA's share of the market.
