Buying bitcoin with credit card is not a scam but you need to be cautious with the exchange site you're going to buy the bitcoin from. An example is the exchange site you mentioned which already had bad records both on here and reddit.

I will advice you to buy on here using paypal which Yahoo62278 offer such services sometimes or try another crypto exchange site like coinbase, binance, luno etc.

Not sure why there are threads asking or starting a discussion about changelly. With the bad reviews they had, that made me urge not to try them. And if you have doubts with them already, don't use them. Given those bad experience, there might also be some good experience but that's already a reason for me not to use them. There are other exchange that you can use to buy crypto with credit card though the site that I know is costly through virwox.

It's possible and you can even cash out your bitcoin directly to your bank account use the crypto card. I give you an example there are two trusted crypto cards provider right now like crypterium and crypto.com
both already distributed thousands of card to various countries and these cards are working properly right now. it's not a fraud as long as it has been running by trusted platform.

Many established exchanges offer buying crypto with card. Two examples I have at hand are binance and bitstamp. Some of them may ask for KYC documents, but if the amount is not too big, Binance should not ask for that.
I don't know about changelly if it's good or bad. I advise to go for the exchanges known to be OK.

There are definitely a couple of legitimate exchanges that allow you to buy crypto with CC.
Coinbase for example accepts credit cards and they're pretty trusted.

Crypto.com also has an option for CC purchases.

Yes you can buy cryptocurrency by using credit card and its not a fraud many platforms are already used it and one of those is the Atomic Wallet and it was functional already and its easy to use if you wish you can try it just do it via Atomic Wallet Desktop version.

You can now buy crypto using some creditcards now. That is legit transactions. But before you give your card information make sure that you do some research about the selling site that you want to have an transactions to make it safe. Some cryptocurrency providers accept credit card from the buyers to buy their crypto coins.
I don't think it is scam, but you must be very careful when buying using your card.
I suggest to buying on good and well known cryptocurrency providers or exchanges.

Yes, You can Buy using credit card, Debit card, Visa and master card. I have barely remember me buying Coins from changelly(but have traded on that platform). There are many threads with same discussion please use the search option on bitcointalk instead of creating one more thread

Bought my first cryptocurrency on coinbase with debit card in 2018. Sure you can also use it.
But pay attention to fee. At my time convertion cost 1 euro. So if you deposit a small amout, your total sum in crypto could be very low

I don’t see how you consider the project a fraud due to accepting credit cards for making purchases. There are a few exchanges that allow you to purchase crypto using a card in the event (and/or bank transfer), and those are normally the exchanges you will need to use to get your first fiat converted to crypto. From there on you can move on to crypto to crypto exchanges, giving you a broader choice of options.

Now what is true is that by purchasing crypto with a card (or bank transfer), you are going to be traceable to a certain degree, and both your bank and the exchange may be at some point required to pass information on to either the authorities or your countries tax agency (depending on multiple factors though related to jurisdiction).

By the way, as far as I know, CoinSwitch (referenced in the OP) is not really an exchange, but rather more an exchange aggregator that compares prices of 10+ (limited set of) exchanges and, theoretically, giving you the best price. I don’t know it performs, but accepting credit cards is not a sign to it being a fraud at all.
