I'm continously watching eth market it's going down and down even if btc is some stable near 12k, is it probably due to high dominance of btc over market, touched ATH dominance almost 70%, means all buyers willing for btc not alts that's the reason of alts bleeding, I'm thinking to hold my eth for now because i hope it'll back again. Not sure about other alts.

So more than a year after hitting it's all-time-high, ETH is still way down, while BTC is just 40% of it's ATH. I guess it will take more time for ETH to even reach $500 this year. It's a combination of factors and we can't just pinpoint one reason why the price seems to be tanking at this point.

Probably it has something to do with Bitcoin's price really taking the market and altcoin investors are shifting their funds on it. I'm not giving any financial advise though, it's really up to you to HODL your Ethereum and hope that the price could go back in the future.

People start doubting about ethereum, including me. I think that ethereum needs an upgrade so it can jump back to its best performance. For now probably everyone is busy for heading bitcoin halving. So let's just wait until then and see what we could do for ethereum.

It's hard too look at ETH this time around. Bitcoin is soaring high right now and converting to it while it still hasn't reach its all-time high is a good move. I think that's the reason why ETH and most altcoins right now are bleeding. It's difficult to tell whether when will altcoin follow Bitcoin's trend but only time will tell. Investing in it while it is still in dip is also a good idea in my opinion.

Presently ETH is trading at 211$ which is very bad even when bitcoin is at 11800$,i think this is happening because many investors are moving over to bitcoin investment,its very hard to know if ETH will fall further so i dont know if this is a good time to invest in ETH

Ethereum coins are obviously good coins, but they are not always pumped in the market, and other altcoins are also not all pumped up when ethereum is pumped, and if for bitcoin now it does look stable, it's just not entirely due to price differences between markets.

For sure - holding ETH is a good decision. Now the price is to low. I think that Ethereum can reach price 0.1 BTC per 1 ETH easey. So now is good time to buy Eth cheap and hold it till good times. Hope that this good times we will see soon.

Ethereum price has dropped significantly since the beginning of the year. In the spring it was 0.025-0.03. This suggests that the dominance of Bitcoin is growing.

This is horrific, BTC dominance is too high and unfortunately it harms all other altcoins. I just looked and ETH is traded around 0.017 BTC and generally I cannot remember when it has shown such low price in comparison with BTC.

I think this slowdown is due to the cryptocurrency policies of large countries. USA - Russia everyone wants to make a profit from cryptocurrency, and here they are trying to introduce new laws. It seems to me that this reason is currently hampering the real growth of cryptocurrency.

not at all, bitcoin has always been dominating the market even when coinmarketcap website was reporting the fake dominance at less than 50% the real dominance was 99%.
that is exactly why bitcoin has always been rising in the long run while all the altcoins have been losing value over the long run.

of course in this particular case (ethereum) the reason for its continued fall is that eth has lost the market. the ICO scams are no longer hot as they were before so it has no usages anymore and people have no incentive to buy it. meanwhile the damaging effects of having an unlimited supply are starting to show themselves.

What kind of law or policies? it has been years, and they keep preventing their users/investors in cryptocurrency especially the U.S. It is no longer a secret that they want to know how much your asset is and trying to implement a tax on it. the real reason why ETH keeps moving down because people believe Bitcoin is going to take another high while alt is slowing down, and it is safer investing in Bitcoin other than alt right now if we are seeing it based on Bitcoin dominance.

Actually there is no need to be afraid if you are patient enough because I myself am very sure that all the conditions will come back again. Now we just need to be patient, if indeed eth will drop below $200, you only need to buy back gradually, this is the strategy I always do, always buy when the price goes back down.

And look how many people are sorry now because last year they were afraid to buy bitcoin, now the price has increased 3 times. Well I hope you will not regret it like these people and keep what you hold now. Keep calm, ETH is still the first.

wow collapse? how can you say something like that? If Alt is going to face its doom, then why would you suggest us to buy it at or below $150.
it does not make any sense at all. And if you do not know about it yet, a few months ago, ETH was traded at $100 or even below that. But look at it now.
