What wallet do you prefer?

Honestly, for now I used mobile wallet like trust wallet and Tron wallet apps in the mobile.
Aside from this matter, Nothing else unless I have Bitcoin of course I will use Electrum as my cold wallet
for it. Then most of my coin was stored at Binance exchange and Kucoin just like that.

Both desktop wallet and hardware wallet which of the wallet have the highest security level, I don't know about this wallet except this popular trust wallet and wallet we can derived from all this exchange and my mind go directly that they are the strongest  place we can keep our coins.

My favorite wallet, is the Bitcoin Core desktop wallet, is very easy to use and at the same time, allows you to maintain a Full Node to contribute to the Bitcoin network, in my case it works 24/7 and also because I consider it very safe.
I do not rule out buying a hardware wallet one day, but for the moment not, maybe with the answers of this thread someone manages to convince me, we will see...

It is if you use an open source, secure program to generate the keys on an air-gapped computer.
Even if you do it correctly, you have to be careful and not to spill your coffee/water on your paper-wallet.

If you are holding more than 200$ please get a Trezor or any other harware wallet, they are worth it.

Well when i started off using bitcoin, web wallets were the go to option for me but since I got to understand that if your dont control or have control of the private key then the coins are really not yours... Hence i was forced to move to mobile and desktop wallets which give you total control of your coins with access to your private keys.

For trading activities I have a hardware wallet (Trezor) which I bought in 2018, but yesterday suddenly my Trezor died and I couldn't access my crypto there.
I just regret this, where my hardware wallet suddenly died.
As a consideration, paper wallets are the best choice as long as you can take care of them properly, because paper wallets are very vulnerable like paper money.

When do you connect it to your computer to access your wallet does it prompt the option to introduce your Pin?
Perhaps it is just the screen, which you could replace if you are tight on money.

When I connect Trezor to the laptop, the screen on the hardware wallet does not turn on. That's why I can't access it at all. I still keep the pins and phrases safely.
Can I replace the screen by myself, without having to do service to Trezor? if possible i will take the risk to replace it myself here.

What I meant is: if you connect your Trezor to your laptop normally the wallet will show you the pop-up for you to enter your pin, if this still happens with your broken screen, then it means your device it is fine and it may need a new screen.

On the other hand, if you connect your wallet and Trezor Suite does not react or detect it at all, perhaps it is something else broken besides the screen.

The only difficulty I see is you will have to improvise to seal off the wallet again, after the reparation.
And for God's sake, do not hire anyone to fix your wallet for you, it is dangerous.

I will try again later, when my Trezor screen does not turn on when I connect the Trezor to my laptop I immediately unplug it without seeing if a pop up appears on my laptop screen. Thank you for the help and advice given. I will see the link you provided

I have never owned or used a hardware wallet, but they look so cool, hopefully one day will get to buy them , for other wallets, I use trust wallet for in phone because almost every coin and chain is supported I guess? Mycelium UI for phone is cooler but it's only for two major coins at the moment I think. For desktop, atomic wallet I used to have, but hardly use it anymore. Exodus desktop wallet I love because the UI is so nice and friendly

Electrum is my favourite. maybe because I'm used to this wallet. In terms of its fast operation, it is the main attraction for me not to move to another wallet. but somehow in the future
