To all the Newbies like me

I faced a lose in my trading and on a break from trading. Was chilling out at Bitcointalk since morning.

I created my Bitcointalk account when I decided I should also trade in crypto. I read about the basics how to store, best 2FA, Platforms for trading and few features offered by Bitcointalk( that was available at beginner session).

On Bitcointalk till date I had only been reading Altcoin talk, Bitcoin discussion, Beginner, trading discussion. Today I stepped into other Topics like BitcoinTechnicalSupport.
Every thread has a discussion so deep and knowledge full that I understood there are soo many thing that we can go and explore and earn enormous knowledge. I felt like a stupid that in this 3-4 months I never channelled my time in right direction.

Bitcointalk has multiple dimensions, It not only full of discuusion on current news and trading discussion. It can get you from A,B C's of crypto(broadly blockchain).

I would request all of you to please go and explore all the topic in Bitcointalk so that you dont feel guilty like me. Bitcointalk is a nice switch if you want a break from trading or daily routine(may be for few like me)

Every thread has a discussion so deep and knowledge full that I understood there are soo many thing that we can go and explore and earn enormous knowledge. I felt like a stupid that in this 3-4 months i never channelled my time in right direction.

I see no reason why you should feel that way, knowledge isn't something acquired spontaneously or immediately, it is a step by step procedure.
Every section of the forum is actually very important, though some are slightly less important than the others, for example the off-topic section, but in general it all depends on the individual discretion, and what you're actually looking to explore on in the forum.

The boards you had earlier frequented are also very important boards to shape your cryptocurrency/forum knowledge, the thing is just most of them have been infested by spam, making them look more or less an eyesore, compared to the bitcoin technical support section that's filled with so much technical stuff with less spam, as many users don't go there lest they make a fool of themselves.

In general every board plays it's role, for example a newbie who shuns the meta and beginners board, may not come across the rules, leaving them to probably falter in one, most probably plagiarism, which would hence lead to a permanent ban, so it's a good thing you're touching all the boards.

This forum itself has a lot of details that newbies and other members of the forum can have information for trading and other tasks. Its a place to learn from the experienced people on the forum.

Buying Bitcoin and hold, then you will not lose anything.
Using your own spare money to invest, don't loan anyone.
The key and most common reason people lose money in crypto are: they think they are expert even they just join crypto some weeks, or some months. People who have never witnessed crypto crashes and crypto winter are definitely naive guys in crypto.

The Altcoin discussion and Bitcoin discussion boards are spam infested. Not so much now as they were in the past but still big enough of a problem to prevent valuable members of this community from ever going there. Many have those sections on ignore. The Technical Support board doesn't tolerate spam. Anyone is allowed to post there but for the right reasons. If you want to learn and help others with your knowledge you will find plenty of quality discussions there.

It is good that you felt guilty after several months, many high-ranking accounts only visit the discussion section/campaigns and then more and more of Spam.
To take an example, I have not benefited from the mining section, although it is one of the most informative sections.
In short, you can learn a lot, expand your thinking and think outside the box. don't be shy to ask questions.

I am not down as I lost. As I have been trading(forex) and know that lose and profit are part of the game.

I have not witnessed the crashes of course but, I was aware of the price at that time. The sudden raise in the price during dec 2017(roughly) took my attention but, I had least knowledge on crypto so was scared to spread my roots.

I completely, agree with you. I still have a though back of my mind that the traders how have been through the crash have the skill sets that I do definitely lag off. Trading on forex and crypto is not the same.

This is the reason I keep my eye and ear open here to know and learn from the experienced one.
