How is it useless? If I have multiple transactions with 100% on my eBay account, wouldn't that make me seem like a legitimate buyer? I've also traded and given away video games on reddit.

Well I'd like to buy normally through some other means, but I didn't realize that PayPal is such a taboo method of payment before I transferred $120 to my account on there.

I'd also be up for gifting a Steam game for BTC, there's no way I could take that back.

I'm not saying you are a scammer, i'm saying that 99% of the time paypal is used to buy bitcoins, it's a scam. So keep your eyes open if someone want to buy bitcoins with paypal

The scammer pay with paypal and receive BTC. Then do a chargeback and have back the money AND he also have the btc.

This of course do not apply only to paypal, it's the same with a lot of other way to pay.
