therefore not to believe too much to someone who will benefit us and invest in a portfolio that is not too large so that if one day is lost, you will not experience a large loss, and do a background check before investing.

Unlike traditional banking where clients have only a few account numbers, with Bitcoin people can create an unlimited number of accounts (addresses). This can be used to easily track payments, and it improves anonymity.

You just got scammed man. Don't trust too easily don't get too easily blinded by numbers they are promising you. Think of everyone as your enemy because during this times people are ready to do everything just to get more money. There is no easy way to earn more money, actually there is a way and that is what they are doing they lure other people who are newbies and suck money from them little by little until you realize that you've been scammed. Patience and knowledge those two are important things if you really want to have more profit.

Hello everyone, I invested with Mr William Morgan he has a instagram account that goes with user name "btc_mine".
I invested with him 700$ for a month and when I had to take my profit from him I deposited 50$ as transfer fee and 25$ for MSWO and QSWO, my profit as said was 1300$ and when he was about to make the transfer he said that his mining platform requires my wallet to have 80% of my profit(1072$). I some how managed and paid him but the process got delayed by 72 hrs as It took me 3 days to manage the money.
But then he said that to get the process on pending he invested 150$, then he transferred 2250$ in nonspendable bitcoin format. And then he said that due to delay in processing I require 600$ more in my wallet.
In all this transfer process he asked my wallet id and password my wallet is empty as of now.
The non spendable 2250$ btc are also gone.
And now he is saying that I will have to deposit another 600$ in my wallet to get all the money and profit back.
Please help me I invested what I had.
You can see his profile in instagram as "btc_mine".

I've heard of all kinds of btc mining scams but this has to be the most daring one. The guy actually gave you a whatsapp number and kept talking with you? And all the while he didn't video you you still sent him money?

Report to the police immediately. Maybe you can get your money back but more importantly, you kill his scam and put him in jail.

How did you send money?
what police! they are not living in the same country so police would be useless

Scams everywhere a lot and more and more will appear, it remains only to be vigilant and not to get involved in suspicious projects
Scamming in surely not a new thing as you said, and before bitcoin was even introduced or gained this relevance, there has been  cases of scamming,  a lot which documentary has even been done on them and we have seen how the authority has tried everything possible to ensure that they those who are involved in it is usually brought to their knee.

Cryptocurrency scamming can really be controlled if government really put an eye on it, they are government because we believe they can put things in control, so here is the chance to really proof themselves by ensuring that the cryptocurrency industry is well scrutinized through regulation and be able to always fish out those who are spoiling the purpose of it even amidst the anonymity of the system.

Well, it depends on the countries involved. Most of the times information is shared between them ending up in an accumulation of reports which can strengthen a case being built up against said scammer. Not hard for them to figure this out if you provide all the info and you'll help more than reporting it in the scammer section of a forum.

That is obviously a scam, and you lose your money. I don't think you can get your money back. I think you don't learn something about bitcoin mining and your interest to invest in bitcoin mining as I did before. But then, unfortunately, that person does not send the money, and even he asked you to send another money so you can get your profit plus your money.

It is a bad experience for you, and you should not make another mistake by investing in bitcoin mining. If you really want to invest in bitcoin mining, then you need to search more information about the mining process and never tempting of the advertising that says "You will get a big profit in a short time." That will never exist, and it's only to waste your time and your money.

If you live in the same country or city with him, you can report it to the police and asked the police to investigate that person. But if it's not, then you cannot do anything because you will be difficult to trace that person because I don't think that he will use the real identity when he online on the internet.

This type offer is totally belongs smell of scam, i suggest you always stay far from this kind of offers, you can't expect to refund your given money from this kind of situation!

This was one of the basic scams people fall for, and I can’t understand how you did not see you were being scammed? How could you be so naive that you gave your wallet details to him, check this forums beginners section where every newbie has been told not to share their wallet details. There’s no way you can recover your coins as that’s not his real ID though you can report it to Instagram and save others, and that whatsapp number is fake too. I would advise you to move on and start a fresh, and remember any offer or person asking money to make money online is a scam unless they can prove they’re not scamming.

^We are naïve because we like people to do things for us a lot, the time that we spent in looking for people that will get our things done, we would have committed the time into learning how to do it ourselves. The man or company that he is relying on for the mining proceeds is not going to even have more than one head, and he might not even be as smart as him, but that is how we see things.

Well, it is a pity that he has already been scammed by mr Morgan and that money is gone forever, all we can hope of is for Mr Morgan to be caught one day so that others that would have been a victim of him like op would have been saved, and op by now should start looking for other alternative means of making money through cryptocurrency market or trading.

This is why you shouldn't trust people in facebook especially in cryptocurrency groups because in that groups there is a lot a scams going on there hyips ponzis and also mining scams but you got still fall into one. Anyways i hope that you learned your lesson and next time you wouldn't fall in to another scam next time and also, think of that as offering of his/death since you can't recover the money since cryptocurrencies are irreversible transactions unlike centralized payment processors which can reverse the transaction and recover your money.

If you had a bitcoin account(i see you're a newbie) prior to this scam, you would then have asked questions on this platform before going through with  this illegitimate deal, and you would have been adviced otherwise.
It's advisable for anyone one who wants to get involved in bitcoin, be in trading or whatever to have a bitcointalk account, this will help such person to ask questions, seek advice etc on possible investment tips as well as on how best to stay secured.

It's too bad that the scammer has made away with your money, but most times it reduces the chances of it ever occurring again, as you'll be careful to a fault next time.

You have lost a lot of money and you are very sorry for this fraud. Fraud in mining often occurs repeatedly with a model like this that can provide benefits that can be said to be quite large but behind that there are unexpected things from mysterious missions, usually mining owners with frill cloud mining based on ponzi mining schemes or fraud or can say mining money but there are so many variations of differences between one trick mode and another, so you have to know what to do before you decide on a mature decision first. Remember you have been cheated.

its not facebook but its instagram although your right that we must not easily trust somone that we only knew on social media no matter what their names or profile because they can be fake .

yes there are now alot of crypto groups on facebook and on other social media as well and along with these are growing number of fake profiles that advertise scammy projects  .  speaking of scams , bitcoin mining is popular on that category   .

It so obvious that there are many scams happening around the market and how did take such a decision to do investment with someone on instagram? Just being curious about what made you to take this decision?
