Instead of this horrible method to earn a couple of pennies, I suggest opting for placing 1.0x live bets with any kind of bankroll that you are comfortable with which has better odds at helping you earn way more in the long term op.

You need to do your research though and it will definitely not be easy, but you can earn some serious money if you put in the effort. Such small odds are not my preferred odds, but this strategy is much better than faucet hunting.

Gambling is not save either and the OP can lose all the amount in no time. He should first check and analysis what he is best at and then start that business. It can be online or offline with or without crypto but really investing in phones and then faucets is like draining your money for nothing.

Otherwise, back in the year 2017 faucet and even airdrop are much more profitable.

Problem is alot of things in retrospect were more viable then we realised at the time.  I was mining Bitcoin in 2013 and it stopped being profitable but this was with a price varying down to 100 and it rose to 1000 in that year but still the difficulty rose alot so I stopped.

Here we are at 10,000 now and I wish I had carried on my mining into a little bit of unprofitability and just kept it for the long term.  It was actually going to be profitable to keep and since I already had the rig setup and everything all prepared I might as well let it fly a little.
   I'm only mentioning this because when it comes to crypto we have to have a little imagination as to the possibilities not just now but overall in the way the world might change.   Iam pretty certain the world will change alot in my lifetime, broad statement but I mean it with regards to finance and especially FIAT.  We are in a unique focus change over in how economies and transactions and currency operates I think.  

Obviously faucets, you arent going to go that far but I dont want to dismiss anyones daydreams as impossible.    Try for a little while, keep your proceeds in a wallet there after securely and with backup and who knows how the situation changes perhaps in your favour.   None of us know for sure tbh

Todays faucets are nothing to be honest. Before it were something found here that there were some of them that give even 1000 satoshi. Many construct some scripts and sites with frames or something similar that will rotate sites and they just click on it. How I dont know if there some rotators or not or even faucets at all, or maybe there are but how much will they pay 3-4 satoshi.

Claim faucet if you only want to try the site isn't illegal. You only use it for test, not about farming or make money from faucet. It's different when you are using multiple accounts to claim with different IPs, you are abusing the faucet (though you will not be rich since the faucet only give you around 100 sats as the highest)

I wont look right now but I got a screenshot somewhere of a really old faucet and it was giving out over 1 Bitcoin each day.   I swear it was like 5 BTC and this years ago when BTC was only a few cents each so it was all about distribution then and spreading the word about this new tech.

I have to admit I heard about BTC very early but as its obviously virtual I had doubts.  For reasons I'll never figure out I didnt respect it as much as PGP which I had thought was great.    Foresight counts for so much in technology.

Maybe you are right that the number of faucet farmers is reduced now because the amount they can get is lower than what they could get in the past but I still believe that there are still some people doing it in freebitco.in. Most of this abusers/farmers wont give up just because the faucet amount is reduced, as far as there is still a good chance to make money by abusing.

I have a faucet collector running at freebitco.in. The bot earns around 2-5$ per month, not considering the chances of the 200$ jackpot. Its my hobby to tune the software and write programs to automate simple tasks, wouldnt work as an income because electricity costs are as high as the profit here in my country

A huge problem is the requirement to solve captchas. There are various captcha solving services online but they are very expensive (starting from 9$ per month).

Considering all those facts and from my experience I dont think its possible to make any money from your phone farm.

I think even mining could be bigger than this, I know it sounds like mining is a very expensive work and you can't really make money with it anymore but in reality if you pick just one rig and start with that and try to make enough money to pay for the costs and then start getting a second rig you can always have a good income, you usually work with some pool for it which means you don't have to wait too long to get paid (might take a long time if you did it alone).

So, if you do a very small basic rig, not a huge one that is extremely expensive but a small one with even second hand stuff you buy from others then you can have a rig that makes you 5-10 dollars a month, with that profit you can get another one in a year and can grow the business out of just one bad one, it will take years and years but if you started 10 years ago today you would have been a super wealthy person, so start today and maybe you still can in another 10 years.

Well, in my opinion, you never get profit if you are only wanted to collect faucet in freebitcoi.in. Bitcoin at this moment is very cheap and every drop of airdrop maybe 50-100 sats depends on how you solve the captcha. So, that is not reliable to expect profit and getting earn. Indeed, that is also against them seems like you are abusing the faucet.

Mining is a lot different from doing faucets. Mining is a proper business and it was really easy mining in 2013 when there was not much difficulty level as it is now. Even the faucets in old times give good amount (Satoshi) according to the current bitcoin prices but still I do not think it is worth doing faucets with 10 phones etc. We should be realistic and I think faucets is only for time passers or newbies in the crypto world, not more than that.

I apologize, I did not correctly understand what was said.  You opened my eyes to what is a violation of the rules for using faucets.  Of course, punishment for farming is waiting everywhere, but since I have never used faucets, I do not really understand the rules of this activity.

The main problem with mining is a lot of people just have electrical rates that are too high to be competitive and profitable compared to other miners in the game; I've powered down most of my miners as a result of my electrical bill becoming a bit too high for my liking and just a general loss of interest in mining as a whole, though mining can be a fun and potentially profitable hobby for some.

Sucks that faucets now pay so little nowadays, but with all the abuse and greater interest in Bitcoin and crypto as a whole, earning potentials from faucets were bound to go down. Sad to see though, because faucets were one of the things about Bitcoin that caught my attention in late 2014. I first experimented with BTC through funds I acquired through faucets.

I can justify mining in contrast to a space heater, if the room is more comfortable and I'm using the PC and its not a big deal as a percentage cost then its fine for low key mining.   Big operations where you hope to make alot then no, the time has passed really.

Efficiency is a key part of every free market, open opportunity to all means society benefits from competition between participants which results in the most efficient product produced at the best price to the largest market possible.  
   When we dont have free markets or capitalism then society is suffering.   Its why broken governments and dictatorships fall over, the worst instances of nations without freedom are where the poor government is supported by a larger country for its own needs.   The people suffer sadly, I hope we all retain free markets and efficient process even though in this case, we lost the ability to mine Bitcoin a long time ago most of us anyhow.

I would recommend blockchains where Proof of stake is possible, a kind of very low energy use mining or staking is possible for all wallet holders.   I've always found this to be the most interesting viable alternative and instances of this idea I've been interested in have been there for over five years now.   So time proven at the very least.   I will just google a faucet for one of them to post below:

I google a little and how this is waste of time better invest or buy rig or do something else gamble. When faucet worth something many create rotators for this purpose no matter the coin was in BTC, LTC, DOGE, DASH back in the day again mentioning when faucets wotrh something. How this is completely ridiculous to do. Better option is to do something here and get merit for post and latter you will rank up and get better pay from signatures here. This is one option. Dont waste money on phones and doing faucets take 50% of that money and invest in some coin it will better for you.
